i own an ´99 octavia 20V non turbo, too bad mi dad dind care about it, an tranferin a cold weather car in to the caribean was a bad move in 1999 for skoda, the paint is pealing an the ruber is toast. but the skoda octavia from 2000 troug todays ar awsome !!!!!

Sorry, but that car wouldn't exist without volkswagen - guess where skoda get that knowhow and technology? Most of it based on the golf IV platform or - regarding to the new Octavia 2, that is based on the Golf V. But I agree, that the octavias looks better - exspecially regarding the comparison between the new Octavia/Golf models. Btw - I drive an o1, too - but it's just a 1.9d engine ;)
