I worked with my daughter, she loved to learn, also. She could read at a 2nd grade reading level by age 3. Some kids like to do this, others don't. My daughter is 20 now, we sent her to private boarding schools, she loved it. Her i.q. was first measured at age 6 and was 167. These people are great parents, obviously. Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh, I'm not talking about Lilly. I meant to reply to chifour66 about his/her dauther having an IQ of 167 which is higher than Einstein's est. 160.

However, we're not sure if Einstein had autism. All spoken words now are just theories because he never took an IQ test or an examination for that.

Also, it is said that he demonstrated traits of autism, but that could have been attributed to his high intteligence. such as impatience with communication w/ people because of their slow response etc.

IQ depends on your age so a 160 IQ at age 6 is very impressive but it's 160 for a 6 year old. So it will probably be quite different now that she is 20. :-)

I totally disagree! It depends on the school. We had a girl here who received a PERFECT SAT and ACT on her college entrance exams, and YES she went to a PUBLIC school. The magic is in the rearing and the CHILD. She will flourish where ever she is educated.

Get her into a private school that will actually challenge her, otherwise she'll end up unmotivated and uncaring. I used to get homework taken away from me in elementary school because i kept working ahead, not getting anything wrong, it was just bad to be faster than others. Boo to the public school system.

I'd recommend homeschool, actually. That way I knew exactly what she was learning and how she was doing with it. She's a prodigy, and that needs to be nurtured. Her individuality shouldn't be stymied by being put in a box.

Judge Judy, thats how children learn to read, they memorise letter and sounds then put them together. If she's memorised it why is she turning the pages? Frigging hell she's only about two! Give her a break!

Even though you say you spell it right, you spell "Yeah" like "yea", "Spelled" like "Spelt" and "Z" like "Zed". If your so clever remember your capital letters and full stops :/
