  • Great vid and epic tone, what power amp do you use, if one at all?

  • Hey Mark, nice vids. Is this your OD100 providing gain, or the Axe?

  • It seems you play emotions, but you play them very good. You are really a man on your proper place. It is naturally an interesting chanel professionally being done.

I hope you will get it right )

  • What studio monitor did you use with axe-fx ?

    does it works great ?

  • Honey to my ears

  • Excellent job!

  • Great tone, I am sure it sounds even more amazing in person. One is in my future for SURE. Great playing by the way! And as far as guys just hammering on you, always remember there is a moron born every minute and sadly they open their mouths and those of us with a brain have to be subjected to their stupidity. Case in point: The Plagued Raven. His playing probably sucks too!!!

  • HELLO 'IS REALLY A DIFFERENCE IN TERMS OF THE AXE FX ULTRA TONES FOR THE AXE FX II. THE SOUND IS VERY SIMILAR! Am I wrong?

  • @U2TOTAL Big difference in person. Also a big difference in ease of getting better tones. They cut through the mix better. I had both units and imho there is no comparison.

  • Simply, This Guy Bought an Amazing AXE and He is Having Fun :D Keep On Rockinnnnnnnnnnnn and gimme that AXE O.o PLZZZZZZZZZZZ :D ............ No I Mean Seriously I want one ....GRRRRRRRR ....................

  • Sounds Great dude! \m/

  • Awesome Videos!!!! Keep it up man!!!

  • FYI, I wouldn't reply to the trolls, it gives their posts front billing at the top of the comments section. Youtube for some reason decided that you can't hide comments by modding them down enough anymore, I guess because there were too many people who were butthurt that their trolling couldn't bother people anymore.

  • Solid guitar. Thankx budz. Can you do some slow motion for us older fellas. Really appreciate the time taken to do this for us. I pay no attention to the crap some folks write.

  • Right on the money dude...you are my true inspiration...more of it pls!!!

  • Just plug 'n go with the Axe FX II - if I could count the hours I used to spend futzing with my rack to get a sound like this, only to have to tear it all apart to make another sound ... to have it all stored and easily recalled in one spot is a god send.

    Nice vibrato too btw.

( a truly great goofy fun song - I usually add a touch of chorus on this one )

  • Nice cover!!! really clean!!! thank you!

  • This dude clearly really enjoys playing guitar, and isn't afraid to show it. Kepp on playing !!

  • Awesome as always, great video !!!!!!!!!

    Two thumbs up ;-)

  • You have some awesome videos! Love your faces. Have fun...

  • For Jack Zucker jazz tone "Am7 Jazz Lick" is the youtube title

  • Why would anyone complain about this?! Great tone, great playing, having fun.....If you don't like it..... go away. There is plenty of other stuff to look at. I can't wait to get a FRACTAL ! Check out Jack Zucker for some juicy jazz tones on the axe fx. What a machine! It does it all.

  • @ThePlaguedRaven

Ok. You must be a really nice guy :)

I just love guys like this. Didn't your mom ever tell you that if you don't have something nice to say then just don't say anything? Don't take things so seriously, have fun, look in the mirror occasionally just to make sure you are the Deity you think you are. If after you look and you still see a God like being in the mirror, then call for an eye checkup and perhaps some counselling to curb the ego and suicidal tendencies.

  • @ThePlaguedRaven

    Bye, bye :)

  • @ThePlaguedRaven So don't go on youtube? It's a rather simple solution, really.

  • You're epic man, I can't just imagine how this stupid idiots like to only speak and say stupid thing about your playing technique or your gear. I think that they really want to get they're hands on it, it's just a matter of envy or jealousy. Please leave that zeros with they words and become a hero for us all!!!

  • Woud you go back and put your blackouts again? Or you found the best in those Aldrich?

  • Great job as usual, love the tone on the Axe, still think I liked the Suhr with the blackouts but, hey.

BTW cool pick of Randy's V on your wall

  • I love this guy...

    His facial expressions are awesome...

We all want to be that loose but, we are afraid someone will make fun of us...

Keep up the great work on the videos...

  • FUCK. THIS IS GREAT. CHEERS FROM VANCOUVER ALL OVER AGAIN.

  • Damn that guitar is ffit

  • RIght let me guess ..another flippin' AXE demo used as a flippin' rock & roll overdriven sound ...anymore creatives around this world who can expand the potential of this AXE gear????

what you guys are doing can be achieved with any flippin' overdrive, a basic amp and some imagination with good ears!!!..get someone else to play that thing ..there's already a billion guitarists doing that same old kak!

  • @100slackerman1 This is a troll that uses his channel to bash the AxeFx and nothing else. He has no videos uploaded. Every comment he has posted is related to bashing the AxeFx on AxeFx user's videos. A true internet troll. You have won a block idiot. I can handle negative reponses on my videos whether they are about the AxeFx or my tube rigs. However this guy is just a troll...so he wins a block. Bye, bye jerk.

  • Epic face at 1:23

  • Mark, how different is the neck from the Suhr compared to the LP?

I have 2 Les Paul and love the neck but, also thanks to your vids, i have GAS for a Suhr Modern :D But i've heard the neck is quite flat? How do you experience it?

    Thanks!

  • are you playing the Axe 2 thru the atomic reactor cabs? thanks

  • You Sir have one of the smoothest vibratos I've ever heard

  • I got a diezel einstein 100 watt head & cab should i sell & get an axe fx ??? How good are they , schon using em now ? & they are more portable? Please reply

  • @bulldog999 No you should not lol. The axe fx is a great module, but they said they wouldnt update it for years and years, and here we are with 2-3 years down the line its already updated (they said 6-8 years the hardware would be not suceeded) Lots of complaignts on forums, as people were happily buying axe fx ultras 24 hours before axe fx II without announcement, pissed many people off. The diezel einstein will always be what it is, a great handwired tube amp. Axe fx 2 replaced in 2 year...

  • I've noticed Mark has been talking alot about re-amping in his new vids. Can someone explain to me what this means exactly? I just bought an AXE-FX Ultra and I haven't very much time to play with it.

  • @edla2005 Re-amping is when you record the direct guitar signal into your DAW instead of the signal from a miced amp or the outputs of say an Axe-FX. Now that you have the direct guitar signal you can then send it out of the DAW into any amp rig or say the AXE-FX. This lets you change the tone of the recorded guitar after the fact and also alows for making copies. So, with the one recorded guitar signal you could make 4 tracks(or any number of tracks) all with different amps cabs and mics.

  • @Dejoblue

Ok, your explanation is perfect. I will have to try this out. Do you use phantom power for the direct signal into my DAW or will my DAW (Lambda into Reaper) pick-up the signal from my electric guitar as is?

    Thanks Dejoblue! :-)

  • You make me want to play guitar every day. Another awesome job

  • Well your head didn't blow up and pants fall off like in the JP Video hahahahaha Awesome Job..

  • Nice shredding

  • all your amazing tone come out just from those monitors? :o

  • Another awesome video dude!

  • hey Mark, wicked tone!! what is the diffrence between the ultra and the II??

  • I have a hard time with my mouth when I play too. its like a disconnect that happens between my mouth and my brain because I was ROCKING!!!

Great tone homie. Thanks for your time and effort.

  • Do Loss of Control from VH! :D

  • sounds great as always, but these clips sound a lot more...'digital' than previous axefx2 clips.

  • Super sick playing man!

  • Killer Tone!! Amazing work!!

  • lmao at the mouth convulsions!

  • Vert Very good Sam Thanks you

  • Super Tone !!!! Great job on this !!!

  • epic epic epic EPIC EPIC EPIC BIG EPIC SOUNDING GUITARS!!!!!!

nice man, hey how many guitar tracks did you do on the solo?

also what are the tone woods on that suhr?

    again wicked as hell!!!

    Cheers, from Vancouver

  • @nik28vuksan 1 performance, 4 tracks.

The Suhr is mahogany body and neck, Indian rosewood fretboard, quilt maple top :)

  • @samhillband Thanks man, just anther question what DAW are you using and do you use any plug in compressors or eq's to tightin' up the guitars?

    Thanks for the reply!

  • @samhillband

man the fractal audio axefx sounds very good, but doesn't it lack the balls a tube amp has? doesn't it lack that typical tube sound?

  • @nik28vuksan : i agree. that tone is simply ridiculous. nirvana for my earholes

  • Some gratuitous crotch shots there! Haha! Nice going mate, sounds heavier than a heavy thing!

  • thats a lot of gain....

  • @Erithlon Sounds badass

  • nice
