  • And the teabaggers hate it when you bring up astro turfing.I live in A place he came to and have been to many of these big coal company party's he was talking about. After I wouldn't go to one of those things if I had to.

  • I just got blocked from the tea party's official web site. They hate when you bring up this movie.Ha ha.I really thought the show was well made. And illuminating.

  • Here is irony: I went to a rally against the ObamaCare takeover. All the "Astroturfers came in their own cars, and paid for their own gas. The ObamaCare supporters all arrived in chartered busses. I was also at a Town Hall meeting. again the "Astroturfers arrived in their own cars, the ObamaCare supporters (mostly SEIU members) arrived in busses, grouped together, got orders on what to do, were let in early to fill the front of the meeting area and as a group, bullied people.

  • @TAMPADOC64

So you are one of the paid astroturfers..... figures that you would be here peddling your rightwing lies.

  • @ReligionIsSophistry What your brainwashed mind calls lies, the rest of the world calls truth.

Only one problem with your statement, facts keep getting in the way.

  • @TAMPADOC64

You are the only one brainwashed.... too stupid to realize that you have been played for a fool... the rest of the world knows you and your tea is shit... no right winger has ever uttered any fact... you live on lies.

  • @ReligionIsSophistry Funny, I've recieved no money from anyone, but you Liberals are demanding more from me, I've paid for everything myself, but you liberals got things paid for you. And idiots like you call me an Astroturfer. You've pointed out who is brainwashed and stupid.

    3w. wmur. com/video/20358253/detail. html

Hey look! The real Astroturfers, Obama suppoters!

  • so according to him(cenk), whats an astroturf?

  • I saw this movie yesterday and it was simply amazing. I found it at filmsi.co.cc. I spent some time in my life thinking about death, but since I saw this movie I'm not so much afraid anymore. I don't know why... although it a movie about death, it shows so much hope.

  • Excellent video. I do despair, however, about how many Americans have become willing if befuddled tools of the oligarchy.

  • @jayantano21 while i'm all for providing content to those who can't afford it... i would urge anyone who's able to pay for this content as it helps send the message that it's content we want and it encourages people to produce more of it.

  • tell me this is the democracy in USA. thats like the red revolution in China back in the days. lol.

  • @webackjack Ah yes... when the truth hurts blame the foreigner.

  • OF COURSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSE

  • @bonfirejovi For a while I considered myself libertarian but by this country's definition of it, I'd be more a social libertarian.

I have many friends who are libertarian, though, and the number one thing we disagree on is the role of corporations. I believe in safeguards and regulation to prevent the private sector from abusing its power. But most libertarians seem to believe that markets regulate themselves. I think our corporations are out of control and seriously damaging the country.

  • @izaccy - yes, but Obama broke that cycle, now the people are in control, so it's quite refreshing.

  • Taki is an awesome name! fucking badass, especially if you're not japanese.

  • either the other kids will bully cenks son to death, or they will call him pro.

  • @spaik007 people will find ANYTHING to criticize you, IF you are lame....

  • @hollaboutit When seeing your reply i get the urge to write "Yeah,You should Know" but instead ill write "Thats true he wont be lame"

    yeah... story of the day..

  • @spaik007 lmao.

  • @twk373 anyone as cocksure of themselves as you is definitely not a monkey. maybe a turkey?

  • @twk373 Nobody thinks they are themselves evil. And knowing what you "believe" is immaterial. I "know" that "I believe" I am the worlds greatest lover. But belief is a poor substitute for evidence and it is possible that I have been fooled :) Everyone can be fooled if they are told what they want to hear. When you find yourself saying things like "I know EXACTLY what I believe", take a step back and ask yourself a better question: Do you know EXACTLY how things are?

  • @twk373 there were price controls on food and fuels for decades and there were no shortages. gasoline was $.349, and price controlled milk was delivered to a box on porches 6 days a week all across the country. on the other hand, there were no price controls on brains, and there are still shortages today, as there was then.

  • @billydu2u but think of now, in venenzuela there is a shortage of food directily caused by chavez stamping out those who wont cave under his price control, or cuba where housing was price control, and now there is a housing rationing, and not soon from now venenzuela will start rationing electrisity

  • Could the sound quality be a tad better? I can't share it with my German students. The distortion makes it impossible for them to understand. it basically fails, and I'm sorry...

  • @ron7006 he was on a cheap mobile phone obviously hence bad sound quality

  • @ron7006 Damn Ron, you do US politics in class? I stopped that long time ago. I ain't got the stomach for it.

  • @ron7006 Damn Daev, you read all these comments? I love Mr. Knowitall chiming in ..."he was on a cheap mobile phone OBVIOUSLY HENCE bad sound quality... he should have used Verizon..." effin phone company salesmen.

But seriously I don't do US politics in class either, mate. I used an earlier video, but then on this on I remembered how crappy the quality was, was all.

  • I found five "marketing" companies with in 2 minutes using google, that PAY people to blog and comment on web sites (like this one) for push their clients agenda.

Yes, many of the trolls that plague even these TYT comment boards are hired hands!

An attempt to actually buy the heats and minds of a country (and so far pretty successful).

  • @TruthAndMoreTruth I wonder if that frictionRx5 asshole is one. He certainly seems to NEVER agree with Cenk on ANYTHING.

  • @aaronsande There was a rumor that frictionRx5 was actually a TYT staffer trying to stir the pot. I think he's too nonsensical to be a paid troll.

I think more comments and replies ranks the video higher in search, and google ad-sense. I think It's the ones who attempt to call everyone out as a "socialist", and(or) "communist", using phrases like "free hand out" as an answer to everything.

  • @TruthAndMoreTruth I would lose SO much respect for TYT if he was one of them. At least, if he is a TYTer, could he make less idiotic arguments? He barely stirs any pot, since we all can see he should be ignored.

  • @TruthAndMoreTruth

And how much did you get paid to say this?

The answer to the fear mongering is do your own investigation before backing any group or sending any money to a cause. It is not hard.

  • @MStowastiqPackapic

Sadly, no one can make a profit on what I have to say. So, no, I do not get paid to blog, or comment on any message boards, this one included. Nice finger pointing though!

If there was a way for me to make money, without "selling out", I'd do it in a heart beat!

It's impossible to avoid giving money to fear mongering political organizations, since most of them are sponsored by large corporations (lobbying?), so if you're a consumer or share holder, you give them money.

  • @GuerrillaFighter12 your on the wrong youtube channel if you don't know the definitions to any of those terms my friend

  • Here's what I don't get about people bitching about Soros and his ideology... If he's arguing for only his political ideology, how is he as bad or worse than others who are looking out for not only their own ideology, but personal gain? If he ends up winning, and he gets what the Conservatives mistakenly think he wants, doesn't he end up standing to lose a lot?

Disagree if you want, but someone please explain to me how Soros is a sinister figure. He just seems passionate about his ideas to me.

  • At the end of the day, can Americans agree or not that all their people should be guaranteed healthcare?

Should communities be never too far from a reliable radius of a fire service, should houses have water taps achieved via systems engineering, should police forces by provided, and should everyone have access to healthcare, which is in fact not about politics, but medical science and human compassion, which incidentally is the reason the concept even exists?

    This is morality, not politics.

  • @Neanderthalcouzin: "At the end of the day, can Americans agree or not that all their people should be guaranteed healthcare?"

This is the fundamental issue. If we all agreed that healthcare should be a guaranteed right, there would be no problem in providing it. I know people who swear that health isn't only something that shouldn't be provided by society, but that it isn't even a basic right. This basic disagreement is what is prolonging the debates here.

  • @squirrelflight

Just to be clear, I agree with your premise that it ought to be something provided for (like basic infrastructure). I was just pointing out that it isn't universally accepted that way here.

  • @squirrelflight Thanks for the response. I also had a debate with a guy and asked him that question, and he responded out of stubbornness that no, Americans should not all be guaranteed healthcare, that it isn't a right.

I told him shame on him.

I want to see sensible Americans stand up and insist that your citizens be given the dignity of guaranteed healthcare. This is about applying cutting-edge science to you and your body. Please don't let these buffoons rule this issue. They are wrong.

  • @Neanderthalcouzin

The problem is that being sensible doesn't make as big an impact on people as being loud and ignorant. People like biased sound-bites that reinforce their position of doing nothing new, and prefer to ignore the facts contradicting them. I was talking with a coworker about HC a few months back who asked me why Canadians and Brits don't like their systems (citing a Canadian PM who came here for some procedure or another).... (cont)

  • @squirrelflight

... and just glared at me when I mentioned that, having traveled to both Canada and the UK, and having asked, found that most people acknowledged that while no system is perfect, they like having it, and think that we (Americans) are completely insane for doing things the way we do. I think I just mangled the English language with that last sentence...

  • @squirrelflight Thanks for saying that. I'm English, lived in the US, spent time in France and now live in New Zealand and next year will live in Australia which i previously visited, and have spoken a lot with Canadians on this.

Do not, ever, let someone get away with telling you that 'the Brits' or whomever 'don't like their healthcare'. It's like a beaten wife saying 'well you're husband's not always home'. You're absolutely right, no system is perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better.

  • @squirrelflightbut even more fundamental than the quantification of which is better, it is the gesture, the ethos, that truly matters as well. Healthcare, guaranteed, for all. There is a spirit in that, that cannot be trampled over. A profit-based system for health is not just a bad idea, it's immoral. The poor are consistently left out, making it a Swiftian kind of Darwinism. The true irony is that these Christian, fearful people are backing an immoral, Darwinistic model.

  • Kochsuckers

  • DUDE.......

  • more whining about the tea party. Get over it liberals, we created an organized movement and you didn't

  • @aarondavid826 u did what we knew should not be done, placed a logo on ur efforts. This allowed Corporate America to immediatly co-opt ur message to their needs through Fox news and groups like Freedom works.

So instead of doing any real politics the Tea Party is nothing but a spoke person for corporate greed.

Speaking as a person who demonstrated WTO, IMF and the World Bank back in the day, I can understand the frustration of the Tea Party, but not knowing any better they made a mistake.

  • @aarondavid826 "we" didnt create an organised movement, corporate america did. If you only listened to what he had to say you wouldnt think that. Your part of the problem

  • @aarondavid826 Haha

  • @aarondavid826 If you snooze you lose. The Dems were asleep and they are losing. You are right.

  • Wow you obviously don't listen... just like the guy said willful blindness the guy gets up and says I funded this organization 5 years ago and you say we created this organization... It's strange how easily manipulated you people are... are human beings really this........ sheepish?

No wonder we had dictatorships and power hungry people if everyone were created equal this world would be awesome too bad we're not! I don't have an answer to this problem though very difficult... education perhaps?

  • @aarondavid826 Organized? Yeah, by corporations. Congrats. That's really hard to do. /sarcasm

  • Hillary Clinton isn't Corporate America?

    LMFAO

  • @EMPIREofPUPPETS yeah, and Michael Moore called her out on it too in his movie.

  • Are you all fucking deaf or something? I can understand him easy. Whats the problem?...

  • watching his documentary right now! its awesome, and quite cheap

  • Hard to make out various portions of Taki's dialogue. The sound quality is terrible, I'm guessing its a long distance international call? Coupled with his accent its really difficult and a bit annoying trying to decipher this interview, which is a shame because from what I can make out it sounds very interesting.

  • holy shit, there's no way I'm trying to decipher this guys lazy accent and absolutely boring tone. nice try but no thanks.

  • @woodsider you couldnt understand him? dude, i understood him like i can understand my brother.

  • @woodsider and what is a lazy accent?

  • @crackerz99 it means he sounds like he's mumbling

  • haha!!

  • Sorry but this guy if fucking boring. Taki I mean.

  • if my internet didnt go out i could have gotten first ha bisky upload
