Yeah, I've read that all that will happen in the case of a strike is a burn mark on the skin of the aircraft. That's also why I don't believe that it was a lightening strike that brought down that Air France A330.
Very rare chance of being struck by lightning. Though even in the case of a lightning strike, nothing should happen to the plane, as it's made of materials to prevent damage to area's vulnerable to this.
Pilot probably didnt even notice the lightning strike or if did barely, the planes are designed to take those with little to no damage, its not as uncommon thing as people think for a plane to get hit by lightening.

It was a smooth takeoff given the conditions. Pilots did an outstanding job of controlling the plane even with the lightning strike.

Lightning doesn't weigh a whole lot so I can't imagine that you would feel much of anything as a pilot. ;-)
