Does that make me a homophobe if I do not want to be gay out of free choice? I do not want to be forced to be a certain sexual orientation, because I want to choose who I want to be. That is not Homophobic. I do not care for homosexuality, but that does not make a homophobe because I do NOT want to be gay in any way. Is that bad?

They're not all nasty people. Not as bad as the Muslims. I know Christian fundamentalists that are nice people and caring people who would give the shirt off their back for some poor kid in India. Christians help the poor in India and many such places. BIll O'Reilly is not Christian America. Not all Christians are homophobes, but it is a loaded word and people have a right to their opinions about homosexuality and you cannot generalize and say all Christians are bad.

@Patchman123 Atheists generally don't say all Muslims/Christians are bad people. The problem is that both the Bible & Qu'ran contain strict, concise condemning passages about homosexuality. You either have to ignore those passages or do some serious mental gymnastics to twist thier meaning. The texts are unflexible & you can't ammend them if you believe they're God's word. Making laws based on moral judgements about peoples lifestyle which don't affect you is an assault on liberty.
