I first saw Slaughter in 1991 with Poison and Bulletboys, then in 1999 with Ted Nugent, Night Ranger, and Quiet Riot. I also met them that year. Also in....2001? with Warrant. THEN in 2003 with Whitesnake, Warrant, and Kip WInger. I guess you can say I practically grew up with them!

In 1989, I saw these guys with Danger Danger and Kiss in Knoxville, TN. Their track "Loaded Gun" was recorded at that concert for the Stick it live album. These guys were great live. The next night i saw Steelheart. It was a kick ass weekend. I miss those days when people really knew how to play their instruments!

It's a real shame how music like this isn't created anymore.

I was raised on Slaughter, Rush, Styx, The Sweet. And I will go to my grave listening to these bands, regardless of the fact that most of my generation have parents who've failed to introduce them to this kind of music. I'm frowned upon for listening to vintage music, when most kids these days are listening to mindless rap, or unoriginal rock.

I remember back in 1998 (i believe) hanging out with these guys at the Birch Hill, in old bridge, NJ. they were all really good & decent human beings, and I ended up chewin' the fat with Tim for probably 1/2 hour about guitars and such. Had a whole bunch of laughs with him..

a couple of months later he passed away.. Still remember it all though.. really sad.. Life just really sucks in that bad things happen to really really good people, yet the low-lifes seem to always prosper.
