Just to update,they are adding a 9am newscast after GMA and a new lead-in for the 5pm newscast.

WMAR now has "The Doctors" at 4 as a lead-in to 5pm news.

The 9am news is actually common at many stations across the country beginning this TV season. No station here in SA has a 9am news yet.

I agree with san antonio newsman.... Why would you have The People's Ct at4pm? Hell rerun Jeopardy at 4/4:30 you'll get better lead-ins for 5pm... BTW Ch 2 is in last place in all newscast, and Sinclair crap beats Ch 2!

I guess they couldn't find a better lead-in because Ch 13 & Ch 11 took the better syndicated programming.

Ch. 13 newscasts start at 4pm, and Ch. 11 stole Oprah (and Dr. Phil/Ellen since) from WMAR back when Ch. 2 gambled on Rosie.

I thought Dr.Phil and Ellen started with 11,then Rosie got cancelled,WJZ picked up Dr.Phil and Ellen stayed in place.

They are 4 news stations in Baltimore.According to Wikipedia,they are third place,with WBAL (NBC/Hearst-Argyle) & WJZ (CBS O&O) ahead of them.Oprah is on WBAL at 4 & WJZ has a newscast at that time.However,WBFF (FOX/Sinclair) is in last place and is only seen in the morining,at 5:30,10,& 11.

Their graphics IMO are lacking, but I love their news music. One of my favorites.
