Too rediculous!!! This noisy and untastful music has got nothing to do with spirituaity and serene nature of the religion. Guess that you don't really know the essense of Lord Buddha's teachings, Buddhism and Dhamma. You are far out of alignment and too unrealistic in your creation. You should make use of your talent in some other ways.
I just wish you don't waste your talent in the wrong way. There are reasons why Buddha Chantings should not mix with the music. One of them is not to let the mind spread out and concentrate with pure mind while chanting or listening it. How can one do it with the music? So I hope you understand that. Besides what if someone play this song at Night Club or somewhere it should not be!
But we all must aware of your shadow always follow to you wherever u go ,so bad idea will reflect to bad results. If u do good things u will get goodies or will suffer if u do evil things .All people create their fate by themself not by God !!! That is realistic !!! We shall reap what we sow !!!Please prepare !!!!
im a buddhist myself and i dun see this as any form of insult to buddhism. I imagined myself as a supreme being hearing this and i think its just a way human evolves through time. Why would it be a joke? i think its rather a form of respect by introducing modern music technology to a great philosophy such as buddhism. At least there werent anything insulting LOL
Please, reconsider what you have said. Human being should evolve but the cultures and religions should not. That's Cultural and Religious Preseverence. Atleast, respect the Religion abit more. Thanks.
@taezar So you think that it is an insult towards buddhism by doing such a remix? Yes I agree that cultures and religions should not evolve but that does not mean they do not accept evolution throughout time. Do you understand the meaning of Cultural and Religious Preseverence? It simply means to prevent the culture or religion from dying, but it does not mean to be stuck at where it was thousands of years ago. FYI, I'm a buddhist myself so I do respect it. Be more open minded. Thanks
The content of that chants are from the Metta Sutta, which is delivering and propagating the Buddha's Metta - loveing kindness - to the listeners. And thanks to the Bikkhu from Malaysia, Buddha's Metta's turned into a nice soothing tune. So, think about it in a simple way. We would want to hear the actual chants rather than the tunes from the DJ right? That's my point there. And I believe Evolution isn't the right word to describe this. It'd just missed the total point of radiating Metta...
@tokytoktok look... the spirit of modern music is to let your mind do whatever YOU want without looking at the consequences. SO is it really right to mix Buddhist chants which are supposedly to release the state of mind of grabbing on this YOU subjective and let your mind be free and just?
