I grew up with this music with my father, Dimas R. Garza, Dimas' half brother. We used to be so proud of my Uncle Dimas III. The Royal Jesters were the best band ever, to me, and their music will live on as I play it for my kids in the 2010s
Rumor has it, Louie Escalante's wife will never let Louie ever sing again! If you ever do a reunion with the Jesters our marriage is over. Right before the last Royal Jesters reunion in San Antonio, Oscar and Henry met with Louie and begged to please attend the reunion, and again his wife said no! Now, Oscar has passed on (RIP) too bad for all Royal Jesters fans!
Ima youngsta (18) from the westside of San Antonio and I listen to rap,but ain't nothing like jamming oldies, royal jesters are one of my favorites, and I see why ma grandparents and all my tios and tias love this music.
them poker parties upstairs. My buddies would stay but I had to get back to my casita and into my camita. Thats about the time a started playing music and then on to photog..

Reminds me of the dances at Fox Tech and all the area churches. The days of the Chile Bowl. Man what a time. Things were much simpler then.
