She HAD a great voice a long time ago but Id NEVER put her with the GREATS! Why do ppl automatically put her in conversations with Celine Dion, Whitney, Christina, or now Jennifer Hudson? SHE DOESN'T BELONG WITH THEM, just LISTEN to her, its GOOD but not what Id consider great. Mariah Carey is on Beyonce's level to me. Just REALLY GOOD at best. They are both GREAT singers, but prefer Christina persnnally. For me, Christina's voice fits all categories of music perfectly, great versatility, whereas its kinda hard for me to imagine Jennifer Judson sings songs like save me from myself n etc.
Jennifer Hudson stands out in every category in comparison to Christina Aguilera. Christina Aguilera is good, but Jennifer Hudson is such a powerhouse. Christina doesn't hit every note with precision. She doesn't know what that is, hence her offkey wailing. Neither does J-Hud, but she's far more accurate in her singing than Christina is.
No one else tries to hit those notes like her because they're clever enough to know it's unhealthy. Proof? Christina's voice is in decline. She has the worst vocal technique and on top of that, she has no musicianship at all.

Jennifer Hudson's notes are effortless, angelic, and heartfelt. She can add a vibrato to a B5 belt. Whereas,
Christina starts straining at C5 and the vocal quality ends at E5. As a result of Christina's endless straining, her voice is now fading out. I like Christina until Eb5/E5. Jennifer has gained more control over her voice.

It's hard to say. Christina is amazing, but she loses a lot of energy and presence midway through all her LIVE performances and her voice would sound to run out of gas.
Jennifer is amazing to, but she's one dimensional and she outshouts everything which gets boring. Barely any colors.
Christinas vocal have proved to be versatile, but Jennifer had more power, range and energy on stage. So it's a tough one.

I like Jennifer Hudson, but Christina is much better. Her voice is much more versatile, and the woman can sing anything beautifully no matter the genre. "Beautiful" remains my favorite song because of the message, but Christina sung it like she meant it, and it touched people around the world. She keeps gettin' better as she ages, and she will be one of the greats before her career is over. I think she's already there! That's just my opinion though. Beautiful tone, beautiful singer!
Jennifer hudson has a church gospel voice and its truly amazing but i just have to say that christina aguilera can basically sing anything pop,gospel,r&b,jazz,rock ect.. i mean i dont think there is any style of music christina cant sing her voice is so versitile you cant even really compare them i think christina just stands out more...
I'm obsessed with both, but I think I have to give it to jennifer.
This is because jennifer's range is straight up unheard of...I've heard jennifer smash notes that I've never even heard attempted by other. I think jennifer could sing the same stuff as christina, but i don't think christina could do the same that jennifer does...and also I think jennifer's singing is saturated with real emotion...I mean her voice is clearly her portal to her soul...
They are both exceptional but I think that Hudson has better tone quality and I think Aguleria has better control....they both have equal strength and range(im guessing im musically inclined but now trained)...they can be compared but they are equal...Aguelria needs to stick to pop/rock but her voice fits that genre and shes the best in those genres...Hudson is strictly soul/r&b/gospel so she should stick with those genres

Jennifer Hudson's notes are effortless, angelic, and heartfelt. She can add a vibrato to a B5 belt. Whereas,
Christina starts straining at C5 and the vocal quality ends at E5. As a result of Christina's endless straining, her voice is now fading out. I like Christina until Eb5/E5. Jennifer has gained more control over her voice.

It's unfair to compare 2 amazing singers but it's part of the tradition and we continue to compare and compare ... what for? If anyone has an anwers hey go ahead ... Xtina and Jen have different stories as to how both started and while Jen started like 4 years ago Xtina has been around for a decade ... now vocally both are impressive and that makes their music incredible. Why cant we judge just that and instead of comparing?

It's hard to say. Christina is amazing, but she loses a lot of energy and presence midway through all her LIVE performances and her voice would sound to run out of gas.
Jennifer is amazing to, but she's one dimensional and she outshouts everything which gets boring. Barely any colors.
Christinas vocal have proved to be versatile, but Jennifer had more power, range and energy on stage. So it's a tough one.

I like Jennifer Hudson, but Christina is much better. Her voice is much more versatile, and the woman can sing anything beautifully no matter the genre. "Beautiful" remains my favorite song because of the message, but Christina sung it like she meant it, and it touched people around the world. She keeps gettin' better as she ages, and she will be one of the greats before her career is over. I think she's already there! That's just my opinion though. Beautiful tone, beautiful singer!

I'm obsessed with both, but I think I have to give it to jennifer.
This is because jennifer's range is straight up unheard of...I've heard jennifer smash notes that I've never even heard attempted by other. I think jennifer could sing the same stuff as christina, but i don't think christina could do the same that jennifer does...and also I think jennifer's singing is saturated with real emotion...I mean her voice is clearly her portal to her soul...

They are both exceptional but I think that Hudson has better tone quality and I think Aguleria has better control....they both have equal strength and range(im guessing im musically inclined but now trained)...they can be compared but they are equal...Aguelria needs to stick to pop/rock but her voice fits that genre and shes the best in those genres...Hudson is strictly soul/r&b/gospel so she should stick with those genres
