For some strange reason I can't keep a hamster. My first two died because of the cage size, It was a cage meant for both syrian and dwarf. But it was too small. My first hamster was silver & grey, she was called Luna, french for moon. My 2nd was the same as yours, and she was called Soleil (Sol-ey) french for sun. My mum then bought me 2 Russian dawrfs, a grey one and an albino, they're called Salt and Pepper. I really miss syrian hamsters, salt & pepper hate me. I'm saving up for a syrian.
Ahhh, but give him ur nuckle next time, as its harder and would take a bite + the texture wouldn't be like food, and he'd know that it was you! Lovely hammi though... gorgeous colour!! Good tip: "Rub your fingers in sawdust so you smell like him, not something tasty to eat"
I loved it when she stuck her nose up onto the lense so adorable. Then i read the comments and it said she died..... My smile turned upside down :) - :( Im also getting a syrian hamster next week
@132062 what month does she die? maybe your hamster wasnt death just it was hibernate in the winter .. hibernate its another thing it happens in the winter often when is cold the hamster falls to sleep in winter time like bears and they look like death' their heart slows down they even dont move... so be carefull peoples in the cold temperature your hamster will become hibernate but they dont die. if you want more information ask me :)
@132062 I see that this was a while ago but I'm sorry for your loss. I recently lost one of the best hammies ever, Nugget. My first hamster was a syrian named Cuddles and she died in her sleep as well after 4 years. I hope you are doing well, and getting another hammie really does help. It helped me a lot with my mourning to know that Nugget was in a better place and I could give my current robos Waffle and Pancake a happy home. :)
Bloody hell fire! You need to tame that hamster before it's too late. Or it'll be like that for the rest of it's lifetime!! I highly recommend using gloves, but not rubber!!! They need to be something like gardening gloves where their hard for the hamster to bite through... As soon you are ready and brave take off your gloves and see if she is tamed a bit... ("highly recommeneded")
i think you have the same cage as mine but did you buy your cage at petsmart i did and i have one thing is the wheel that came with it to small for your hamster or is it good for your hamster

i think you have the same cage as mine but did you buy your cage at petsmart i did and i have one thing is the wheel that came with it to small for your hamster or is it good for your hamster

Yes, we bought the cage and hamster at Petsmart. The wheel is an OK size, but when she has food stored in her cheeks she cant run on it. XD
