Even if they did remake it, it would probably be for psp, not PS3... because SquareEnix is obcessed with handheld games right now. Also, i rerely have the patience to mess w/ the battle arena in gold saucer anymore... those rare items just arent worth it... but chocobo breeding is a must.

hmm i dont think the remake will come anytime soon, FFVII was released for the PlayStation Network a few weeks ago..already downloaded more than 100,000 times only in the US, people are playing the ported game , not a remake, and well squareenix FF team is still developing FFXIII and now FFXIV alog with FFXIII versus, crystal bearers, lots of other games in squareenix besides the FF series....i wouldnt expect a remake for at least other 2 or even 3 years T-T

lol well personally i liked it, it was a variation of the classic gameplay , i prefer the original gameplay with turn basedbattles but think about this, all those games are involved with parties of more than 1 character, this sory told the tale of zack...and implementing more characters i the party ( sephiroth, genesis, cloud, angeal...the turks...or even aerith) would have kinda messed up the solo story of zack...and pretty much destroyed the point of his story, the DMW made up for that lol
so..lol i liked it, plus at times it became really challenging, after you master materia fusion and complete most of the missions it becomes easier but its a challenge nonetheless ( minerva battle) and it sure added stuf to it`s already incredible storyline xD i just hope fFVII remake gets done soon, Tstsuya Nomura keeps hinting about this , try looking up the 10th anniversary galery party thing xD

Crisis Core lacked the feeling of a game-I felt like i had to level up like on world of warcraft just to be told a story. and i hate leveling on wow. Dude When u beat Final Fantasy 7 Before Crisis on the psp u get a reference to ff7 with the tech demo so i guess they probably are thinking about making it and if they do the will make a ton of money thanx to their best final fantasy yet your very own ff7 . Just beat before crisis and you will see.
But right now thats not possible, since they are working in FFXII revenant wings , nova crystalis,the crystal chronicles series for Wii and DS,crisis core for PSP and most of all Final Fantasy XIII its only natural that they are completely booked up...so don't expect a remake anytime soon.
So maybe in a distant future they could make one, i mean they´ve done a lot of remakes for FF1 i´m sure they are considering to do a remake of the most popular FF game of the series.
