once done return to the shrine and he will give you a shield when used also casts a ward that will block 50 points of damage (i know its not much but use the block button again to cast the ward) hope this helps to any mage/battle mage or spell sword

Okay for those who dont know there is a very i mean very nice shield that also doubles as a ward its called the "Spellbreaker" and you have to do the daedric quest The Only Cure for the daedric prince Peryite which is near markarth all you need to be is a level of 10 to begin. the khajit will as for ingredients (flawless ruby, deathbell, vampire dust, and a silver ingot) once you get those return to the khajit and do the quest for Peryite. youll fight infiected and his last champion.

In my game, when I first entered the College I got attacked by a blood dragon. Needless to say that dragon didn't last to long with me and a bunch of overpowered wizards. I think that fight lasted a total of 10 seconds. So...don't piss them off, or you die...hard.

Eventually you will see that that aren't much uses for gold in Skyrim. Just keep leveling up your smithing, and eventually you will be able to craft ebony armor or better yet daedric armor. Follow the ign guide on leveling Smithing, and soon you will be in full daedric armor, with a daedric mace and a daedric shield.
