My oldest child takes the bus to and from school but my youngest only does 3 hours a day.

If I drive it's 13.7 km. If we ride it's 8.8 km.

Driving we get there perhaps a few minutes faster but we have to deal with traffic through town. Riding when we leave our subdivision we cross two roads, ride on 6 km of paved bike paths and the rest through dirt trails until we pop out in the playing field behind the school.

@charlieiscool1000 I'll translate myself: Just have a look in England. When you manage to survive the murderous traffic there, you will understand why this immigrant (the filmmaker) is so enthusiastic about the Dutch cycling infrastructure.

@twilwel I think everybody who has cycled in London will be enthusiastic about NL cycling infrastructure...I love it and wish everywhere could learn from the Dutch example...ditch the cars and get on bikes!
