We are only allowed to run stock transfer cases. A 205 to match a turbo 350 is hard to come by as well. I am running a turbo 350 to get more throughput HP. Its a good working combo. That case was stock and never touched. So I got my $ worth.
The big guy had some very very bad judgement that night. This would never have happened in my neck of the woods. People get mean and will fight over this shit. I'm not saying that's ok but it's just the way it is. I'm not a hater at all so i hope i don't come off that way. This is just sad to see. I acually felt bad for the guy the first time i saw it.There should be respect in moter sports. All sports for that matter. I'm glad it's all good now. It sucks it had to happen.
I've heard that from other people that they were trying to get all the trucks in but im sure that guy had a lot of money wrapped up in that truck and all they had to do was unhook and pull him backwards. You wouldn't have seen this happen to one of the big dogs and all the pullers should be treated the same. I realize hind sight is 20/20 but i would have never let them do that to my truck. It would have gottin ugly. It probley would have been a better show than the truck pull's.lol:))
ouch dave that T-case did that same thing my np203 did my chian started slappin and then busted out the case badly but mine caused my front driveline to snap off and smack a hole in my oilpan
No doubt do I blame Dave for being mad that is what you call an un professional operator should of used loader instead of draggin it to make situation worse
It wasnt the operator, the promoter was yelling at him to just drag my truck off the field. He was real cool and didnt want to. The promoter was under pressure from the New fairmanager to get the show over with. Some trucks didnt even get to make their pull. My Son was one of them. So I dont blame these guys. The fair manager had control. Trying to cram the bigest pull of the year, into 2 1/2 hrs. I think even after pre quls, 250 hooks. A case cranium anus inversion.
Damn !! A fine New Process Gear case cashes it in :(

Why are you running a 203 chain drive transfer? Minimum should be 205 or Profab.
