Crazy Bowen Island ferry ride/Jaguar fail

The cars are hereby officially ruined. And of course, the insurance does not cover such and/or similar events.

@diplomaticSK Only the one with the windows down is ruined. 100's of people take that boat everyday and their cars are fine, myself included. Its no worse that driving in the winter when the roads are covered with salt. Just wash your car often and you should be ok. Its not good for the cars but one ferry ride shouldn't be a problem. And no, insurance won't cover that Jag.

Aha I was on that ferry :D I live on Bowen and I can say that doesn't happen often that's for sure.. :P and at about 18 seconds in where there's mention of a dog, it was this little happy dog who was determined to be at the front of the ferry :)

Yeah the windows were definitely down and yeah the truck driver probably got in a lot of trouble if not fired. This is only a 50 second clip of a 20 min ferry ride so the car was probably pretty well flooded by the time we docked.

@santosteixeira76 No I didn't, thats a good point. I would however assume that all tow trucks have jumper cabled and spare batteries and would want to make sure the windows would be done up before transport. This was no freak storm, the weather had been terrible and wet all day. Good point tho.
