Nice, i wanna get a stroked 6.1 (stroked to 426) in an R/T Challenger, maybe just take an SRT and have someone do the work, idk which would be more cost-effective but ive always liked the R/T heritage a lot more than SRT...id probly cam it a little more than what you have here cause i love that heavy lopping dragster idle...awsome car ;)
Hahha fuck yeah SRT all the way!! Bad azz magnum u got there buddy!! I always wanted to own one but instead I got a 300srt and jeep srt!! LOL but there no where close to what you got under your hood!! I'm barley pushing 600 to the flywheel on the jeep and 500 on the 300!! I bet u smoke those evo and sti all day
are those 300c rims? they look similar to the 300c srt deign group and or similar to the srt8 300c rims too. i have an 07 srt8 magnum do you think it be wise if i just swap out my trans and my motor for a 426 or just get my 370 stroked? i want my srt8 to be my project car. nice ride btw.
Call him Kennith the next time you talk to him and tell him hemiwoods said hi. I found him selling 6.1 parts on ebay. Introduced him to dodge truck world and things progressed from there. BTW your car is sweet! No need to rev a Hemi it sounds badas$ at idle. I had to let my hemi go in July but I'm looking at salvage title single cabs right now contemplating a 426 stroker
you have done a great job with this car i have an 07 rt mag custom paint and wheels and stuff all is good except performance i have cold air intake and exhaust is coming and also programmer. what is next in line to do in your opinion
Isn't anything above a 360 a big block. Or is the engine a moded small block. I ask because I am building a 360 from scratch and if i could bore it to that I may just consider it. I am also planning on adding a procharger if I can get it to fit.
No, an SRT-8 comes with a 6.1L (370 cubic inch motor). I had my motor bored and stroked out to be 7.0Ls (426 cubic inches) by the Hemi Shop located in Round Rock, Texas.
love it man, 426 is the best... 7.0 l.... im jealous...

hey do you use to change idle
cordellfootball 4 years ago
I am not changing the idle...I am opening the electric cutouts which open the exhaust and make it louder....the idle does not change.

Yes, it is made by a company called Danko Products.
redfox0099 4 years ago
Rev it.... when a car sounds that good at idle you don't need to rev it to enjoy it.
