Whatever you do the sound still there man..It can be reduced if follow your advice. whatever the muffler you use....even tried for a jet typed too, result wasn t appreciable. Its because of the aluminium engine. Its rubbish.....i have the same vehicle UCE. I am disappointed about this matter. Other bikes does not make noise at all. Hope they will
Enfield is a Dying Legend. These models are almost do nothing in England. Indian Engineers will do some changes in painting and plating on it and introduce the classic model in every year. After that they will bring Club man/ Trials/ Woodsman, These models are not new. Its been in the market for years however Indians never seen it. Since Indians have not seen off these models, Enfield could do something in India. People love it and we got no substitute in the same price range.
@sandalveda what do you mean dying legend?, there is a waiting period of 2 months in India to get a Royal Enfield bike.By the way this model is in India for around 50 years now & the company is in very good hand of Eicher Group India and now they are making second manufacturing facility in Chennai to carter for the growing demand, also they export Enfield bike all around the globe & they are a niche player in the high-end market in India which is much more profitable on a unit by unit basis.
This vehicle not Favorited by many place where they really want to be. For example in the middle east, Birtain & North South America and even Austraila too.
@sandalveda if a product is not Favorited in other parts of world is not going to make it irrelevant or wothless, because the company is not able to meet the demand in India, that is the reason there is a waiting period of 3 months in India.
Royal Enfiled have survived for more-then 60 years and still going strong, they are establishing another manufacturing facility which can manufacture 75,000 bikes per year along with their existing capacity of 95,000- to cater to the strong demand in India
Beautiful bike. I was very disappointed when TD Impex in Niagara Falls decided to stop bringing them into Canada, but was very pleased to see that they're back and better than ever!
i have got one machismo 350. i wanted this new model but not sure if this is any better than the old bikes

@sandalveda I think it's something to do with the new muffler. If you put the upswept one on it doesn't have that ticking.

@sandalveda In that case it could be the sound of the hydraulic lifters tapping. Not much you can do about that, if anything.
