  • As soon as you said "You'll probably hate me for using this.." I immediately thought "Justin Beiber."

But then you used Britney Spears and I was like "well that's not so bad..

    COMPARED TO JUSTIN!"

  • awesome video series!

  • nxfbeats

please write the name of all songs used to presents intro's as a example.

    Greetings

  • 2:00 anybody know the name of this remix of song What is love ?

  • Nirvana <3 :D And when did Bush like hip hop so much? :P

  • awesome! liking all these vids! made me happy with nirvana as well :D:D:D:D

  • could someone tell me how to get the tabs in the playlist, for example like intro, chorus verse etc, so that i can structure my songs better for the bars, i hope that makes sense

  • Thanks GP, you're a great addition to Warbeats !!! I appreciate the helpful information.

  • great tut champs, we want more like this one !

  • can you do a tutorial on how to make intros please!!!?!?!?!?!?!

  • This is really good stuff. Keep up the great work Mate. Cheers

  • This is awesome, can you please make more for other parts of the song, nice work

  • Thanks for all the tuts ^^

  • what is the song that starts around 3:40?

  • @disOLPickle rick ross-aston martin music

  • @Airviz, so i figured your not a fan of hiphop or pop music..Lolli pop is a classic,

big up to nfx for the tutorial

  • am I the only one who did not recognize a single song?

also , a lot of these songs seem to be hip hop and pop,so I know a lot of fans of those genres are going to be watching, now I do not have a problem with any genre, but I do however have one question to ask, is someone willing to answer properly?: why do most of these songs sound as if they were made with playskool instruments or something, mainly the drums and keys+ others as well,is it a trait of these genres?

    anyway, cheers for the video

  • @Airvtz

in terms of the playskool observation, it is both a part of the hiphop/pop genres (drum machines & synthetic sounds) and the fact that the music is turned down significantly so the narration is more prevalent, when things get turned down like that we hear more of a sounds fundamental frequency, less of it's harmonics and we tend to hone in on the midrange -- making it sound cheap.

PS I recognized five of the songs, Nelly, Rihanna, Lil Wayne, Nirvana -- and some weird Haddaway remix

  • @mp3dmp3d I did suspect for some time that the reason would be not to overshadow the vocal, but house artists when making a vocal track have everything mixed in properly, for example I remember by Deadmau5 or Tiesto silence, etc so there is no excuse, even in classical music such as Beethoven's 9th 4th movement, the vocals and the instruments blend in nicely ,such is the case with Mozart's Queen of the night. And these two don't even need to have a mix down. anyway thanks for the help cheers! :D

  • @Airvtz

lol, yeah i agree with you. but this is a youtube tutorial, not a deadmau5 or tiesto production... you cant expect the same production wherewithal or quality from someone uploading free knowledge on youtube.

as it is, the tutorial is aimed at beginner and intermediate FL users and does a good job for what it is.

furthermore, if any given producer was capable of creating a track with deadmau5's production value, they wouldn't be making tutorials, they would be making millions instead.

  • @mp3dmp3d LOL you thought I was referring to the audio quality in the tutorial? No way! :) I love NFX tutorials, I was referring to the actual songs hip hop and pop artists create. I have downloaded some mp3 and they sound really bad quality wise whether it be at 128 or 320kbps or a .flac file.

    cheers :D

  • he is an eminem fan i gues? But who isn't ;)

  • the first song has the same damn chord progressions used over and over again in music

  • nothing about lil wayne is classic

  • thank you! but were is that one guy

  • 2:59

  • what is the name of that rick ross song????

  • "Look at what the professionals are doing"? There are all very generic intros to me, you should've looked at some more complex intros, as a lot of these are almost exactly the same - 8 or 16 bar intros with some varying transitions - still the same at the core. The Nirvana song was the only one that really struck me as being interesting, since it's 12 bars.

  • Dude this tut was so simple and easy, but it was very helpful. I loved that you used commercial songs. :) Thanks GP!

  • wut kind off bass is that in lil wayne lolli pop

  • House songs always start with drum beats!

    <3 Em ;)

    Great video by the way!

  • @3:33 The talking on Aston Martin Music is not present on the album version. That's the audio from the music video. Although, adding talking and effects do make music sound more cinematic.

  • @djgiz91 nelly

  • @MasterchikenCube And the title?

  • @djgiz91 , sorry, the title is "Just a dream"

  • @MasterchikenCube Thanks a lot! ;)
