  • Wow RoseWood1488....if you forget...Jesus was a Jew! God bless our Jewish friends. I have loved the music of these three great artists although our politics could not be more different. Jeeze, where is your Christmas spirit?????

  • Nothing says "sincerity" than three jews celebrating Christmas.

  • @RoseWood1488 You are a typical hag who should be deeply ashamed of your bigotry, ignorance and hatred that clings to the wrinkled skin of your soul. A hatemonger who keeps warm by breeding intolerance and animosity by your tongue. Careful dear, God is listening to your stupidity and foolishness. Pillar of salt anyone? Peace. bear

  • Actually, RoseWood1488, Noel Paul Stookey is a Christian. He's been outspoken about it at times. He has written Christian-themed music. Is there therefore something wrong with him singing Peter Yarrow's great Hanukkah song "Light One Candle?" Yarrow is Jewish, but once co-produced an album for an explicitly Christian-influenced folk group called Lazarus. Christians singing Hanukkah songs, Jews singing Christmas songs, so what? Respecting and embracing others is OK. It's downright folky.

  • A beautiful ballad sung by three excellent troubadours of love, peace & decency. Mary Travers is no longer with us, a fact that makes this craggy-faced Texan misty-eyed. That Kentucky girl could sing up a storm. Peter (Pete) Yarrow & Noel (Paul) Stuckey are, at this writing, still with us. Beautiful harmony, heartwarming tempo and joyful voices make Peter, Paul & Mary a constant anchor for me in remembering what the holiday is all about. Peace, my brothers & sisters. Bear

  • Rest In Peace Mary.

I remember seeing them in concert on their last tour. Mary was already sick at the time, and I understand she passed away not too long after. I cry often when I hear this on the radio.

  • Thanks for posting this. One of my fave versions of this song, which is hardly played on the radio anymore, sadly (this version, that is). =/

  • There is a little bit of tension in this otherwise pleasant encore to such a wonderful concert. It all starts around 1:25 It looks like Peter doesn't want to look out...
