UNlike Bruno's version, Brandy adds so much more color and layers this song beautifully. When she sings the melody, she supports it with tender backing vocals so it doesn't hang by itself. And she stacks beautiful harmonies that add a lot of depth to the song. Bruno would struggle to hit the high notes she hit, and he couldn't belt as efficiently as she could.

a nice ballad from brandy. although her career has been up and down over the years, its nice to know her music is still good enough for me to hear. this one is a personal favorite. she does nicely in emotional type songs like this.

Jesus, he DID write the song and he deserves credit for that, for he is talented then why did he give the song to Brandy to sing? @TuneeTube He didn't steal the song. He wrote this song with Phil. And before even selling the song to anyone he had to make a demo which brandy heard. So some of the songs that you think are covers are all demos that Bruno and Phil wrote for other artist ( e.g. long distance, again, before it explodes). :)
