So let me get this right...there are 'some' drum licks that are universal 'pulses' that are part of a rhythmic DNA - plug them in, give them different accents, and they become a different rhythmic Gadd species! Wow!

Amazing lesson :) where did you get that ride cymbal for your electric kit? I just bought a Yamaha DTX530K and this could come in handy.

@FaithIsAccidental Thanks! It comes with the Yamaha DTXPress Special IV itself, although I don't think Yamaha sell this particular model any more :(
