As I said it was my third RPG. Therefore the factor that decides why it is so good is because of the fun factor of the game. That is the most important thing. Next to that I just love the magic system, and the graphics are very nostalgic. Characters are full of passion so on and so on...

Also... the PC version has worse graphics. It's more dodgy, more buggy.

Yeees, it can support higher resolution character sprites and such -- but not the backgrounds and the rest of the graphics themselves, which results in total inconsistencies in texture resolution making everything seem bizarre.

The PSX version has only a res of 320x240 -- but that's what the game was made for.

And sitting far away from a TV makes it look nicer than on a computer monitor.

I love Final Fantasy 7 because it got me into RPGs. Nothing can ever replace that for me. When this first came out and I played it I was only 7 years old.
