  • @sanchezo95 uhm no.. the bound system ruined tekken.. it became mainstreamed.. cmon, all their juggles are WAY TOO EASY now.. you can just bound every single launcher to extend the combo..

  • @jessrocked juggling became mainstreamed, in tekken 6 the health was increased and bound was added, juggling was not always all that difficult, i just think bound was a really cool thing that was added

  • @sanchezo95 yes. mainstreamed.. eventho the health has been increased, the gameplay which is supposed to have balance between juggles and strategy has been skewed..

    juggling is easy but the bound system takes away the natural trickiness of all the characters..

    tekken 6 is more on who gets the free damage inflicted to the opponent more

    if would have liked the bound if it gets activated only when the floor breaks after being smashed down or if it was only a launcher

As you yourself had admitted, the health in T6 has been increased & so has the length of the juggles, yeah? Longer combos=Wider margin for error. You fuck up? Congratulations, you've earned pitiful dmg & completely lost momentum. T5 on the other hand ... Less life+Shorter Juggles=Get launched & kiss a good portion of your health goodbye -_-"

  • @KurenaiDISCHORD No one's fucking up a 8-hit juggle haha. Not to mention T5 had considerably more accessible means of fucking your opponent into additional dmg via setups that either AREN'T IN T6 or have been nerfed to some degree. It really just boils down to whether or not people enjoy combos for their challenge & aesthetic appeal (To me the B! system is very engaging & really rounds out the feel/look of the juggles whereas T5 is more "HIT>HIT>HIT>BLAST_CARRY_SPIKE­") or are just impatient -_-"

  • @KurenaiDISCHORD seriously, there is no skill in juggling,. HARADA himself was plagued by complaints of fans saying tekken 6 had way too much or a long ass juggling time.. that is why he made it lesser in tekken tag 2 with the use of the tag assault, but still im not impressed much with the juggling system.. FFS, juggling isnt showing any skill at all

  • @KurenaiDISCHORD Yes. Longer combos, but Errors will have less chances since the bound system simply BALANCES out the combo in case you forgot what to do.. and for EXPERIENCED players, juggles are simply easy.. you see, the chances are small and there is no absolute punishment as well

    maybe, but the gameplay is absolutely balanced between juggles and raw fighting.. to be honest, as much as possible i would like the juggle to get shorter and shorter. that way,it will show true skills of a player

I'm actually quite curious as to what those reasons are as you've yet to offer any real arguments against them. You claim that juggles require no skill & "Raw fighting" does. I can tell you, as an "Experienced" player, that I personally poke, space & juggle all with minimal effort. So ...

  • @KurenaiDISCHORD What does that mean for every other aspect of the game? That nothing requires skill because it comes naturally for the experienced? That makes absolutely NO sense, mate ... No; juggling, as for movement, spacing, offense & defense all come naturally for those who have worked to acquire the "SKILL" to do so in the first place. That's the definition of "EXPERIENCE," for fuck's sake!

You forget that you're not actually watching 2 combos become 1; that's JUST THE FUCKING COMBO. I swear haha it's like if they didn't even implement B! & just made the combos longer, none of you scrubs would wank. Just evolve with the series & adjust 'cause you honestly have no intellectual leg to stand on in this argument. Really, what's the worst that'll happen? You get launched & wait for 1 of 2 things: Them to finish\fuck up. At any rate, you'll be missing every bit as much dmg as you would in any other installment of this series so what's the problem!?

  • @KurenaiDISCHORD its NOT actually evolution, its just merely ADDING UP MORE CONTENTS which is i think UNNECESSARY.. this new tekken system spoils all the fun actually when everything you do CONTAINS juggling in it.. ONE low parry and it will send you to a sure shot juggle.. ONE mistake in jumping and youll get caught in a juggle and can be extended by B!

  • @KurenaiDISCHORD youre not getting the point dude.. for instance, specially on the wall combos, when juggling and upon reaching the wall, instead of just doing a one-two-three hits, you'd have to B! the opponent to inflict more damage..

    i once said that tekken should have walls during the tekken 3 days because tekken seemed to be incomplete.. then came tekken 5 and tekken 5 dr and everything was perfect.. but tekken 6's B! came and its just ridiculous

  • @KurenaiDISCHORD sorry its just getting in my nerves.. seriously, the REASON is pretty OBVIOUS why the bound system sucks because it shows no SKILL in fighting but just a SKILL IN JUGGLING.. almost effortless and quite POINTLESS because you'd have to do all those hits just to dig a huge amount of damage..

  • @jessrocked I haven't failed to understand a thing =\ Although, seeing as how we're both apparently "Seasoned vets" and all, I find it odd that you've managed to forget how LP used to grant a FREE launch BEFORE T6BR. What does it do now? You throw them on their arse & get a small juggle; NO B! so yeah ... Carry to the wall in T6BR? Yes, you'll get more hits in. Will it do more dmg? Absolutely not, especially since it's not nearly as easy to set your opp up into another juggle as it was in 5DR =P

  • @KurenaiDISCHORD For the record, I understand your plight, to an extent. Except, I fear you're not acknowledging all the bullet points. You don't like that the combos are longer in BR, that much is clear; it seems as if you feel that it simply breaks the game. What you've failed to notice is how much more balanced BR is in comparison to DR_earlier builds. I'm not even talking about the juggles here; I'm addressing the engine itself. The "Actual" fighting, as you put it? That's indisputable ...

  • @KurenaiDISCHORD The universal i10 jab, being a prime example of Namco's effort to balance the experience so you're not forced to shrink the impressively extensive character roster to a select few who were blessed with tools like say i8 jabs (Ludicrous), CH's that crush on the first frame (Lee's d+3 in T5 was retarded! It's been known to crush HOPKICKS & somehow still connect for KD_guaranteed hit_oki ... WTF?) among many other travesties that "Broke" the game, as it where ...

  • @KurenaiDISCHORD These glaring developmental flaws aren't NEARLY as prevalent in T6BR. Although the community is--hardly, now that I think about it--divided over the B! system, the opinion amongst the more experienced, skillful players is that T6BR is by far the most solid experience so far, balance-wise ... Every character stands a chance so skill counts the most ... The juggles are just longer. Although, I personally don't know why someone would even play Tekken if they didn't like juggles ^^;

    LP in tekken 5 wasnt all the time assured, steve, bryan, panda, asuka.. tekken 5 dr had characters that were truly unique and there were tiers.. tekken 6 was balanced that i think all characters were the same only with different movesets..
