This guy...Jeremy Clarkson is a nut-job in comparison! Finally, a proper car review with no screaming, shouting and dumb irony, and there's no stupid TV effects that just annoy the hell of the viewers. 10/10 man!!
The reason why the Zonda is just soooo much more awesome than Ferrari's, Lambos an Maserati... is because it combines italian design with german reliability (AMG Engine)... and that's just the reason why this car is one of the most iconic of all time!
keep in mind this car came around in the late 90s and early 2000s. just think how advanced it is! the closest thing to the zonda in that time was the saab 9-3
This video is no doubt mind numbingly dull if you don't like cars....I absolutely loved it though.
Mr. Metcalfe is obviously a TRUE car fan to share his cars in this way, and show mortal car owners the details that you just don't get to see otherwise.
Thanks for posting this! It's really nice to see actual owners of these amazing cars discuss everything about them and describe what the car is like on a day to day basis! More to come I hope!
Harry, I'd just like to say that your personal videos are among my favorite on YouTube. The way you approach all of these dream cars makes them more of a reality. Watching you address every single detail is a pure pleasure to watch. Now I know what to expect when I buy my first Pagani, however many years away that may be.
@ssb763 Exactly my thoughts. His enthusiasm for the cars he owns reminds me of 'Jay Lenos Garage' videos. I'd recommend checking his vids out as well. ( his website, not youtube )
@celt67 Yeah Leno's stuff is great too, although he doesn't always go into as much depth as I'd like. He seems to come off a little more as, "So this is that car, and its really awesome, and I like it a lot," whereas this guy gets into specifics a lot more often. They're both awesome gear heads though =)
I love the zonda it's so good looking and Mr pagani saying to the people complaining about the radio and he tells them to listen to the engine instead haha
@ThorsHereXPn if you like to learn more about super cars rather than watch them race jets and boats than go to jaylenosgarage dott com. Lots of great videos there
Thank you! More of these types of reviews please! So much better than the usual boring reviews where you read the specs, do a bit of driving, and wrap up.
Yes, go to EVO's website and click on the top were it says "3 ISSUES FOR £1"(Even though this offer is not available outside the UK) and then you just have to pick "anual subscriptions" and subscribe.
These are the videos I crave from Car magazines. Autocars offerings are too short and I don't trust Auto Express at all. EVO, please keep making in depth videos like this. They're really insightful and I don't think anybody truly needs Top Gear-esque production and editing. It's all about the cars for me :)
Thank you very much Mr. Metcalfe! I really appreciate the fact that you can tell us (not yet so lucky ones;) ) personal long-term experience with these astonishing cars.
So basically Mr Metcalfe bought this zonda s,and after a few years sent it back to Pagani after a few years to add and modify some zonda F parts onto it?
Horacio Pagani is my hero. His cars show so much love and care for engineering, motoring and just pure driving, unlike so many super/hypercars these days. Put a Pagani next to a 458, MP4-12C or even a Veyron and it's sure to attract most attention, and for a reason. If I win a lottery, Pagani is the second thing I'd buy (after a ferrari F355 :p).
Absolutely love these in-depth video's detailing the ownership of exotic/interesting cars. When I get my copy of evo through the post, the first place I flick to is the long-termers section, especially the one's about the supercars.
Its articles and vid's like this, that really detail the up's and down's of owning machinery that the vast majority of us will never have the opportunity to drive, let alone own, which petrolheads like me love so much.
This is fantastic stuff, this is what makes EVO unlike any other car magazine. EVO is the only magazine I really consider buying and telling my mates to buy. The way you educate the readers in a non-patronising tone you get that we are all 'car guys' and know a thing or two! Can't wait for part 2
Awesome indepth review, I especially loved the details like the fuse box and Carbon weave, things you would never see on the normal reviews... I also love the Panerai on the wrist, perfect watch for the perfect car!
Wow, Sweet Jesus, that car is a true work of art in every sense of the word. If I owned one I would just sit in the garage for hours just looking at it with all the bonnets raised. This makes a Ferrari or a Lamborghini look like a Camry.
@01trecool01 Correct. The fact that this Zonda appeared in the very first episode of the revamped Top Gear and became the first car to be driven round the now famous Top Gear lap by a chap called 'Stig' somehow didn't make the final edit. Search 'The Stig - Lambo vs Zonda BBC' on Youtube and you'll find it there
Mr. Metcalfe you have got the best videos online please keep posting them and keep them original it's better to hear you talk from your mind and to see your personal views of the car instead of reading from a script and I got my first magazine of Evo last night and I saw you in it and It cheered up my night so thank you and you have a beautiful zonda and I hope to see some more great videos of it u and lots of other cool exotic cars
This video is a perfect example of what makes EVO special. They can show their viewers content that just does not exist anywhere else. Thank you so much Harry! Please, please, please make more of these.
Harry these videos are so popular because you're down to earth, honest and completely open about your experience owning these cars. You can't beat this :-)
That´s why i like your videos Harry, because they are long, you talk about all the details and all the little things that´s impossible to know if you don´t own the car, and one other great thing is no music in the videos, just you and beautiful sound of the engine :) Cheers from Portugal
Your videos make the cars real to us, very tactile. we can hear the acoustics, see the switchgear, look at the lines and you give such a friendly, casual overview. You actually make me get popcorn and get comfortable. I am excited every time a new video from you comes out. Keep up the good work
Thanks for all the amazingly complementary comments on this video. We're staggered these video diaries have proved so popular because they break all the usual rules (too long, wobbly camera, no action, etc.).
I suspect it will take us at least to the end of the week to edit down part 2 of this Zonda special video but I'm pleased to say there's plenty more videos to come and I will try and get round all the other cars scattered around the garage as soon as I can.
@EVOTV They break all the rules, but they're interesting and give us an insight into what it's actually like to have a car that we all dream and wish we could have one day. I don't know about other people but the long termers are my favourite part of your magazines and I only wish there were more of them on youtube and in the magazines. Thanks for this so much!
@EVOTV I think it is important to remember that short videos can get a high level of views but are often criticised. Long videos that are not rushed can often give better results. I love the 'garage' reviews because there is real care taken in the descriptions you give, not just impressive production costs like so many other channels.
Please keep these coming, I really enjoy seeing these cars up close and personal and hearing the trivia and stories associated with ownership. Harry is down-to-earth and, most importantly, a real car guy. Thanks!
@EVOTV The way you review these cars is utterly amazing, Mr. Metcalfe. I'm always quoting (or talking about) you in e-mails to friends, car forums, videos on YouTube. Please, keep posting! Huge thanks from a brazilian gearhead!
@EVOTV This is a fantastic video and I agree with what others have put that they're good because they're long and you explain all the minute details that you never get to see unless you own the car. It's all so interesting. I've subscribed to evo for years and these videos just add to it. Thanks and I'm looking forward to part 2.
@EVOTV Keep it up! Great work! I appreciate a good informative piece on a supercar. We all know they can spin the tires and make smoke, most of us don't know the little details of the dash or where the fuse-box is hidden! LOVE IT!
HARRY you're simply the best, and your diaries are just awesome. The way you tell about your cars it's so strong and fascinating... I just felt as i owned that pagani.
hello Sir Harry Metcalfe of Zonda cockpit, would you ever think of redoing the interior? perhaps a full oxblood or keep half the beige and two tone it with a natural hide or darker leather? I got quite a larf about the snow chains:) you should try it:) I bet it would be nice to send Chris to some where very cold and dreary to put the zonda in an ice race. long live Harry and his happiness, cheers from america.
Hey evo, just as I thought it would be nice if u could reply to some of your viewers seeing as how we subscribe to your page and comment on your vids.... I feel I speak for all the tubers thanks, GiVE BaCk!!!

By "modern" I didn't meant "being built right now", I basically meant "post 1980's". The Ferrari F40 is the first "modern" Supercar imo.
tgseason12 1 month ago
@tgseason12 I was just wondering why you like the C12 and CCR more than say the Zonda F or Huayra and CCX or Agera

An Orange CCR looks better than the CCX and Agera. The first Zonda looks very similar to the F so I guess they're just about the same car looks wise.
