But in the end, I was proud of the way Bama played, because if memory serves OU fucking demolished everyone that got in their way during the 2003 regular season after that game. I kind of wish OU would have gone 14-0 that year so we could say a 4-8 Bama team almost beat a team that had the potential to go down as one of the best teams of the decade.

I totally agree... I am a big OU fan nd I have really started to like Bama ever since our two game series. Other than Alabama, none of the other top tier SEC teams (especially Florida) ever play anyone good outside of non-conference. I can't recall but did florida have a couple of Juco teams on their schedule??? haha

I love how people are so easily deceived. It's absolutely fucking hilarious when I hear someone refer to last years offense as "Wilson's Offense". That's fucking funny. We had a senior O-line, Heisman winning QB, the greatest Tight End in America, and more fucking backs and receivers than we knew what to do with. Damn you Stoops! We were so damn close to winning that game. I was so pissed when that happened. But in the end, I was proud of the way Bama played, because if memory serves OU fucking demolished everyone that got in their way during the 2003 regular season after that game. I kind of wish OU would have gone 14-0 that year so we could say a 4-8 Bama team almost beat a team that had the potential to go down as one of the best teams of the decade.

This was the opening game of the season in 2003. The two teams also played each other in the reg. season in Norman, Oklahoma (where Bama nearly pulled off the upset).

I'm not saying that we would have wone with Murray. However, he was'nt 100 percent against Teaxas, so thats not fair to throw out his stats in that game as a comparison. In reality, the pace of the game went much slower than OU would have liked and Florida had a good gameplan, whether or no we would have won with Murray is irrelevant, you have to play with the players you have available.

Did you watch the game on January 8th? Obviously, you did not. It was an awesome game. The defense on both sides were dominant. Tebow threw two picks, just like Bradford. The best two teams played that night. Florida just made the plays in the end. You are one of those SEC fags that chants at the end of the games. OU has a better tradition over any SEC team by a mile, even Alabama and those mythical National Championships. Florida was very lucky we did not have Murray.
