Gots some speed ha. I use the same technique in a video I have on my channel. I had only practiced it for about three hours in the video (so there are sloppy parts), but I think it's not horrible. What do you think?

yeah our snare captian does that that for a measure solo in our show but just a lot faster on a marching snare

If done the 'right' way..or the traditionally 'correct' way...as Buddy, L.Bellson,Elvin Jones,lenny white etc...should NOT be done by using the rim...just the snare head. But you did well with what you did in the vid.

i think it's done by doing a rimshot then hitting the snare again on the rebound. my friend showed me once. very well done man.
