What if you had never seen the colors blue or green or purple? You are missing out on many new colors? Missing a billion other experiences? You would really be kicking yourself at what you missed.

Surely, both notions are mutually exclusive, yet both individuals wield the same rhetoric. And unlike chocolate, which I empirically know exists, neither God nor Shiva can be proved.

The Hindu's belief in karma and the like may not actually be mutually exclusive with Christianity. I have seen people try to keep old family traditions and still be Christian. I am sure there is a religion out there where that would be impossible. But that is part of why we are here, for you to choose. I don't think "these choices (tests) are too hard" worked in 2nd grade and probably won't work on the Day of Judgment either.

question one: how can an atheist feel separation from God if he never had a relationship with God? Everyone feels separation from God nils and not just in hell nonbelievers feel it even now, but because of their lack of understanding about God they can't see the forest from the trees so to speak, meaning separation most times takes the form of a unfilable void in ones life, or a impending question that even there closest confidante can't answer. leading to an active pursuit

Atheist do not have to explain themselves. Reason does not apply to religion, and atheists should not be tempted to frolic in the parts of religious mythology that do make sense to avoid being dragged into 'serious' discussion of non exsitstent entities (like this 'god'). Atheist should push the sensibiliy to rely on reason.

the laws of logic are proved through experience, in doing so assuming the experience will remain the same into the future which only leads to arbitrary explanations when something cannot be explained. according to a materialist's logic which must be explained with physical proof, which just doesn't add up in the world
