Check out the Hydro Classifier for gold, it's the newest way to classify your material and you do not have to run it through a sluice box to get the gold. It's the easiest one yet.
It's Kind of a waste that half of that Sluice box is just a ramp. And the top should be a hopper or It would have been better to angle it like a double dry washer and have a mat on the ramp. So you feed the top it goes down the first ramp and all your fine stuff is on top then the bottom catches your larger stuff and you run it from a battery operated pump. I honestly don't see this working. But its a design in progress I guess. Lots of different ways to make it work
m8 cut it in half ,have the wide end at the front and a gravel pad fixed to the front for gravel to land on and wash down .the bottom end should be about 2" less than the front so the flow of water going through will pick up speed and wash the fines (gravel) away quicker.and the other half, make one up for the girl friend or wife,double the volume.I just can't see your one working that great..
