even though u are in the air, everyones instinct is to turn the wheele but forget to realize their is nothing to turn, and i believe the end result was from my point of view the wheel was turnt a little and when u come down the force pushes it from little bit to whoops
he didnt turn left somthin broke believe me hes a good friend of my dads and if you have seen other vids of joe racing hes plenty used to driving with the front end in the air his car makes sick power and i think his new car is even faster
If you ever seen an incar video of joe if he gets sideways liek any 10.5 car they jerk the wheel a little bit. from a different angle he was going towards the wall and he might have jerked the wheel, no clue. they leave slow because there in 2nd gear
@Racer0792 Most cars dont leave in second gear but if their first gear ratio is to powerfull they leave in second. With the turbo cars they kick in around the 60ft marker or before
Glad you are ok Joe, Saw he made a post on YB letting everyone know he is okay, and coolaslce do you REALLY think he meant to do that? Its called OUTLAW 10.5, shit happens when your running on the edge. Just grateful Joe is okay and cars can be replaced.
This was the sickest crash I've ever seen at E-town. Glad to know he's okay. Hell of a weekend at the Shakedown. If you haven't been, make it a point to go.
first off modern outlaw cars like this.. Tim Lynch, Chuck Ulsch, Dave Hance, etc all make not 2000 not 2500 but 3000 plus HP!!! thats what it takes to push a 3200LB car to mid 6's. This car simply lost traction which is easy to do with insane power to a little 10.5 tire. Outlaw class rules is a max of 12 inch tread width which is a joke for that power level. These cars cant even run to full potential!!! Tim lynch went 6.40 that day and he left the line like a 13 second car!!
well said my friend.I've been watching outlaw 10.5 for many years and seen this happen so many times. the bottom line is if you feel the tires break a loose, get out of the groove or start getting over close to the wall you should really save yourself the time money and most importantly pain.....and JUST LIFT!
his car drifted out of the groove when it was on the rear wheels. there's a lot less grip outside of the racing groove, and when you're making close to 2000 hp, these things can happen at a whim. complete loss of control before you know what hit you.

Some people steer while they're in the air not knowing they are, sometimes the back end just comes lose on one tire and the car does it by itself.
