  • This is a perfect Parody... Wall St is corrupt. They need to be stopped. But camping in a city solves NOTHING. Yelling at the top of your lungs in protest in said camp solves even less. Please, at least try to use our shitty political system to your advantage.. Even if you think the government is under the heel of the 'Fat Cats'.. Try. Unfortunately that's the best we have..

  • Your dogs are adorable! What breed are they?

  • The barksters have stolen all the beef out of the bones, and now it's time we defeat those barksters. lol

  • I love U Dogs !!

  • its funny but i argge

  • America needs a socialist party tbh.

  • Those dogs are sooo not into it!! LOL!

  • #OcupyTheInternet

  • @barney00005 I am confused about your analogy. If a company "tastes like shit," then don't buy that company's stock. If you don't like a company's business practices, don't do business with that company. You may get to vote once a year on government issues, but you vote every day with your dollars. There are a whole bunch of people out there that do nothing and whine about it. Many people whine about elections being between the lesser of 2 evils, yet how many of those people vote in primaries?

  • @barney00005 How do you not have the same opportunity as myself, or even Bill Gates? We all buy stock in the same company, the company makes a profit, and the stock price goes up. We all receive the same increase in value proportional to our initial investment. Actually someone like Bill Gates would make a slightly lower percentage due than you or I, because he would have to make multiple trades in order to buy large quantities of a single stock, resulting in more trades and more fees.

  • Dare I say I don't support the OWS protests? People get the wrong idea when you say that.

I love when people put some effort into what they believe in, it's great people can do something they care about.

I just don't have to believe the same or support the protesters though. It's that simple. The protests can claim to represent 99% of us but they don't.

  • Bark

  • :D

  • Wicket and Pixie are the cutest dogs.

  • This is not a good parody, Wall St are thieves and parasites and people have a reason to be pissed off, the protestors aren't like dogs begging for treats they are people that can see Wall st is robbing the value of our hard work. This is insulting to anyone with half a brain unsubbing

  • @MrROTD Its a joke man.. Jesus chill out

  • What breed is your dog?

  • wuff wuff

  • Lol hes finaly gone truly crazy lmao

  • Occupy all the things!

  • Keep up the good work Chris :)

  • 0:09

"How did you draw a sign?" xD

  • Why does the rest of the world get it?

  • Cute dog Chris but wonder if their real, they didn't move at all :) love your work

  • I ordered that dogs to do that!!!! hyarrr

  • Love it

  • Your dogs are very well trained

  • 107 Cats hates this video.

  • 104 cat lovers disliked

  • Y U DISLIKE DA CUTE LITTLE DOGS :O

  • I was going to go on maximum trolling until I read the disclaimer!

  • You think that's bad? Try eating your dinner while having a dog drool all over your plate!

  • hahaha :P heard it live last night :P...

  • Those dogs have no idea what's going on.

  • Funniest thing I've ever seen on your channel, man.

  • A teabagger parody would have been better... they're much easier to pick on. This video fails, next please.

  • Must say I don't fully understand this satire honestly.. *shrugs*

  • Too many people in this world don't know what light-humour is! Geez... can't a geek joke around sometimes?

  • Hey Locker Gnome guy, you should take out the pepper spray and show them who's Bawss!

  • Haha

  • Well, you are a rich cunt so this doesn't surprise me.

  • @Tyrroi He says he farking supports OWS you idiot. No one can so much as make a joke because idiots like you take it the wrong way. (hence ruining it)

This is no worse the #OccupySesameStreet, which in my opinion is hilarious.

And while Chris might have a nice home and everything, he's not even in the relem of being close to the so call "1%ers".

I think you just jealous of people.

  • @thedarkone2134 Mad?

  • @Tyrroi Yes.

  • @thedarkone2134 yeh obviously guys he is not near the 1%ers or involved in any of that nonsense Chris I'm sure is behind the people and not the bankers and such

  • hey ur dogs are adorable, i m sure one of them uses linux

  • chris is a greedy fat cat

  • It's my bday guys.. Say happy birthday to me!

  • @the1000th1 happy bday :D

  • @the1000th1 hey its mine to happy bday

  • bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

  • Lol, those #occupy protests are a joke. The majority of the people I've seen interviewed can't really give a reason why they are even there. The ones that do give a reason, most of them aren't even correct. I saw one lady who told me her bank was "gambling away" her checking account, and her money was safer at home, and I explained how her money was insured by the FDIC in her checking account, and she told me I was part of the problem. I figure some people clearly don't have money for a reason.

  • @v12tommy Exactly! I said much the same and people made sure to call me an idiot. Oh well.

The only #Occupy protest that matters is Occupy Sesame Street. Because remember, 1% of the monsters eat 99% of the cookies.

  • @thedarkone2134 Yeah, the protesters clearly have no clue on reality. It seems super simple to me. Don't want your home foreclosed? Pay your bill. Can't afford your bill, you shouldn't have bought such an expensive house. Don't want to pay Bank of America's new debit card fee, take your checking account elsewhere. I don't see how they can't comprehend that. I have had multiple issues with Bank of America in the past (their fault) so I just don't do business with them. I don't need to go protest.

  • @v12tommy I'm honestly not trying to be rude dude but it saddens me that you think your clever by saying this, ironically your proving how we have all been tricked into thinking such a financial system is acceptable and that if we have been fcked over by it its our fault, things are not that simple buddy

  • @mattfm101 How is it we have been tricked? I don't work in the banking industry, but with the protests I feel they are being unjustly targeted. If people got bad terms on credit cards, or whatever that they are now in a hole, the terms were clearly spelled out in their contracts, they just failed to read them. In my case with BofA, they claimed the check got lost in the mail, so I sent them certified mail from then on, and it kept happening, so I proved it was them and not USPS. No big deal.

  • @v12tommy two things you should watch the Keiser Report as the guy presenting it has worked in the financial system wiki him he inform you of lot of odd things they have done and also the matrix funny thing to mention I know but it parallels a lot with how are society works and perhaps highlights that it might not be right take the fighting out and its a very intelligent fim

  • @mattfm101 I don't think there are really 2 parallels for the most part, just a few bad seeds. I definitely don't like the loopholes and subsidies though. I am all in favor of a low rate flat percentage income tax. My favorite candidate for 2012 so far is Buddy Roemer, and my second favorite is Herman Cain, both of whom are either bankers or former bankers, as well as business men. Buddy Roemer refuses to take more than $100 per person or organization in contributions.

  • @v12tommy There are far too many posts being generated for me to even attempt to reply to either the first or the last, however I will reply to this one. I believe, more or less I hope, that these protestors are simply implying that the monetary system (one ring.. eh em... I mean person to rule them all) is no longer valid. In the grand scheme of things, work for reward mentality does more harm then good. It turns us all into consumers, working just to live, consuming the finite.

  • @PsionicArchon If you are saying communism/socialism is better, it doesn't work. The issue is that you eventually run out of other people's money. When the people with no job realize they get the same benefits while doing no work, the continue doing no work. Then when the people who are working see the people who aren't, the figure why work when they get paid the same to not work. Eventually hardly anyone is working and there is no money coming in. It has a 100% failure rate throughout the world

  • @v12tommy Hardly, I do not consider myself a communist nor a socialist. If there's an ist or ism word for not belonging to a particular ist and or ism word then I suppose I would be one of many people whom fit into this category. Most of these protesters don't even understand the nature of not fitting into a category. I work, at the moment to live, and in my free time I produce entertainment over the internet (not for reciprocation, simply because I like to, this is my motivation). Comment room!

  • @PsionicArchon Right now people have a lot, and I stress a lot of work to do in order to assure that they will survive for the next twenty years. If I had more space on here to comment, I'd have more examples I could give. You seem intelligent however, as you did not immediately grow angry at my comment. Damn you character limit.

  • @PsionicArchon I am the same way. I turned fun videos into a business making videos when I got laid off from the entertainment industry a couple years ago, but I started it for fun. I think capitalism is awesome, and always have. If the free market is left alone, it creates a perfect balance resulting in high quality products for lower prices, and everyone benefits. If a company makes bad products, or has bad practices, generally they aren't around very long.

  • @v12tommy There are some anti-Capitalists at OccupyWallStreet but, as a whole, they're not anti-business, anti-capitalist, they're anti-plutocracy and pro-wealth equality.

  • @Esoteric0714 How is pro "wealth equality" not anti-capitalist? In a proper free market society there are always some people that are wealthier than others. I don't see that as a bad thing, as we should reward people for hard work or good ideas. Everyone in the US has an equal opportunity to become wealthy, but the ones who become wealthy are the ones who either have good ideas and good products to sell, or they work hard and make sacrifices along the way in order to become wealthy.

  • @v12tommy the free market is broken through lobbyists bribing the gov for contracts and changes in laws that are there to protect the public. the politicians have been brought by the large corporations, they now have the lowest tax in modern history and many of the trading companies are making record profits. while pushing for another global depression because they can profit from it.

  • @tmarritt I agree with lobbyists getting out of hand, but that is an issue to take up with the federal government, not Wall Street. As for corporate taxes, I am fine with lower corporate taxes, or even no corporate tax, because all the company does is either pass the cost onto the consumer in the form of higher prices, or onto employees in the form of lower wages. Higher taxes are bad, especially to businesses.

How do they profit from a depression? Have you seen bank stock recently?

  • @v12tommy watch?v=gMOfMEsQuSk :) ignore the first min or so if you like. and had the lowest taxs in years yet the avg wage is lower than it has been in years. watch?v=HYPvZacp3bc&feature=channel_video_title . profits get sent to share holders, they will pay people as little as poss, thats how businesses work its why u need gov to work on the side of the people to make sure the system is fair. capitalism can work but if you let it is will run riot.

  • @tmarritt Actually government interaction on "feel good" laws like minimum wage almost always hurts the people it intends to help. Minimum wage is a great example of that. The problem lies in that certain jobs are only worth low wage. If a person with no skills sweeps your floors for $5.50/hr. and the minimum wage goes up, you now have to pay $7 for a job that is only worth $5.50. Since the company can no longer keep him, they lay him off, so now instead of $5.50 an hour, he gets nothing.

  • @v12tommy Lobbyists being out of hand is very much indeed an issue to take up with Wall Street. Don't forget, Wall Street owns the politicians and the lobbyists.

  • @Esoteric0714 I still think it's an issue to take up with Washington, and not banks. Lobbyists do nothing more than make sure someone's view is heard. Some of them are a bit corrupt, but to me the major issue is the politicians that allow the corruptness. Lobbying in general is actually good. If we didn't have politicians that accepted trade offs in exchange for things, then there would be no issue. For instance, in the tax code, if there was a flat tax with no deductions, everyone benefits.

  • @v12tommy I see. So the more that 3.5 Billion dollars that was spent by lobbyists last year on politicians was necessary to "make sure someone's view is heard."

    C'mon.

As far as a flat tax goes, the only people who benefit are the wealthy, since it disproportionately reduces discretionary income for the lower and middle classes.

  • @Esoteric0714 Why is it fair that wealthy people pay a higher percentage? Right now the lower 51% of income earners don't even pay any income tax at all currently. That doesn't sound like paying their fair share to me. As far as discretionary income, a flat tax would be an advantage. Congress and the President could no longer use class warfare because with a flat tax everyone is in the same tax bracket. Everyone has to work together to lower the percentage, and government spending drops quick.

  • @v12tommy (1/2)

It is "fair", because they control a greater portion of society's wealth.

I would also suggest watching less Fox News there, Neil Cavuto. That 51% figure was from 2009, and was a result of both the recession and tax stimulus policy. But, hypocrisy is the cornerstone of conservative thought, so I guess it isn't unusual that, after conservatives advocated reducing tax liabilities to stimulate the economy, we now have a conservative crying that no one is paying taxes.

  • @Esoteric0714 Sorry, lower 47%. Still not a big difference. It just seems hypocritical to me that the lower 47% call upon the rich to pay their fair share, when they don't pay their own fair share. I agree that the wealthy should pay more, but only the same percentage. We shouldn't penalize success. If you make twice as much, you should pay twice as much, and not a penny more or less.

As for lowering taxes stimulating the economy, that is a proven fact.

  • @v12tommy [1/3] If it's a proven fact, then why don't we just eliminate all taxes? (You're misrepresenting what the Laffer curve suggests).

Instead of discussing “fairness” vs. “common sense”, actual numbers and policies in who pays fed income tax in any given year (like hurricane Katrina victims, or 9/11 first responders), or the fact that almost everyone pays some tax (sales, property, payroll), and how eliminating loop-holes & imposing a flat tax are unrelated issues I have one question:

  • @Esoteric0714 How am I "misrepresenting what the Laffer curve suggests"? There was nothing in my comment that even mentioned the Laffer curve, or can be related to the Laffer curve. Believe me, I understand the Laffer curve as I have a great admiration for Dr. Laffer and his economic views. In fact, it was Dr. Laffer mentioning Herman Cain on Lou Dobbs' show that got me interested in Herman Cain.

  • [2/3] Do you think a person or a society should be allowed to sell themselves into slavery? I’m not trying to be fatuous. In other words, do you think there is or can be a point where a transaction results in such an inequality or injustice that it must be subject to a non-market correction? (Joe sells himself into slavery to Jim [transaction] U.S. Constitutional Law forbids enforcement of such a transaction [non-market correction]).

  • [3/3] Because the wealth & income disparity in the U.S. is becoming virtual slavery and feudalism. Yes, people borrowed money for student loans & mortgages, yes, apple got rich selling iPods and iPhones, yes Exxon made profits selling gas people buy, but at the end of the day, you can either look at that and say (1) lassiez-faire regardless of the result, or (2) lassiez-faire + socially necessary corrections. I think most people realize that the latter isn’t communism, but common sense.

  • @Esoteric0714 In order to give money to one person, you must take it away from another. Why should we penalize Apple because they invented a good product and sold a bunch of them? There are natural market corrections: the money you spend everyday. If you don't like a company's policies, don't spend your money there. Make a conscious decision to spend money at companies you like. I will go out of my way to purchase US made products where I can, and I always try to support local small businesses.

  • (2/2)

Regardless, even for those who, in any given year, incur no tax liability, they do so because they are the lowest of the low in terms of income and therefore how is it SANE to expect them to pay the same percentage millionaires and billionaires.

As for class warfare, exempting those with greater control over society’s resources from paying a concomitant share of taxes, as you advocate, is itself the essence of class warfare.

  • @Esoteric0714 It is sane because it is a percentage. It is proportional to the money earned, so if they earned very little, they pay very little in taxes, but they should pay something. If they earn nothing, they pay nothing. By having a flat tax, there are many benefits. For one, there would be no loopholes or deductions, which makes doing your return so much easier. It currently takes me several days to do all the math on my deductions, but with a flat tax I could be productive with that time.

  • @mattfm101 There will always be a few bad seeds in any industry. No amount of government regulation will eliminate problems, but more regulations makes it harder to do business and hurts the economy. I've made mistakes before, but I didn't blame anyone else for them. They were my fault and I learned from them, and I am a better person now as a result of it. I have a very successful business, but there were times I ate nothing but top ramen for weeks. Sure it sucked, but it was my own fault.

  • @v12tommy You sound like somebody I would respect if I met in person headstrong willing do what needs to be done and to go through hard times when you have to and you have come out the right side alright and done well for yourself congrats, you have done all this though by their rules and regs, whats ironic in that too is that when their rules didn't suit them, they changed em

  • @mattfm101 Yeah, it is kind of a double edged sword. Lobbying can be a good thing, although there are times where it is bad. I don't like all the loopholes the government makes. As a business owner I see tons of them everytime I do my taxes, basically because politicians got paid off. On the other hand, my car club pays a lobbyist to make sure new regulations don't outlaw our old cars. The SEMA organization (like the SEMA show in Vegas) is also outstanding when it comes to car hobby lobbying.

  • @v12tommy gotta love it

  • @v12tommy I know what u mean I don't understand alot of these things too. The people there though are angry at the right people though and all the need is direction and information by someone who has more of a clue whats going on. Oh yeh here is something I do know the FDIC is owned by the government and your right they will insure your money, but where do the government get their money from ??? the federal reserve a privately owned bank, meaning more money now is owed by gov to a bank

  • @mattfm101 Well not really. The FDIC doesn't need to borrow money. You wouldn't need to get money from your homeowners insurance unless your house burnt down. Same thing with the FDIC. As for the federal reserve, it isn't a private bank like Chase or Bank of America, it is owned by the member banks, like a co-op of sorts. I have issues with the fed doing "quantitative easing" and stuff, but I am not opposed to the fed as a whole.

  • @v12tommy look in your phone book lol im not even from america you will see that it is listed as a private company

  • @mattfm101 Yeah, it is a private company, but then again it isn't truly private. The federal government has the power to hire and fire the head of the federal reserve, so it would be like the federal government controlling a private corporation because they can hire and fire the CEO at will. If the federal reserve isn't doing what the government wants, they can just fire the head guy and replace him with someone who will do what they want. So in that regard, it isn't truly private.

  • @mattfm101 The problem with a lot of protests like these is they mark an entire industry as bad. When the BP oil spill happened, they all went after the oil industry as a whole, yet the industry employs tons of people and at very good wages too. Same thing now with the banks. Sure there are a few bad ones, and people should call them out, but the industry as a whole has hundreds of individual companies all with individual goals and practices. I couldn't be more pleased with my current bank.

  • @v12tommy its been proven renewable sources used together are a viable alternative to using oil so why do we still use oil and even worse nuclear power its waste i think doesn't stop being nuclear for 10000 years dont quote me on that and has to be stored in deep lead storage facilities one can only be led to believe that its because its more profitable even though it pollutes we still use it insanity in my eyes

  • @mattfm101 Nuclear power is actually a great energy form. If there wasn't a risk of a disaster, cars would be nuclear powered. You can power an aircraft carrier for years on a piece of metal the size of a golf ball. I am all for alternative energy, but I am against the subsidies and legal restrictions like CAFE. People shouldn't go green because they are forced to, they should go green because they want to. I plan to expand my business into an alternative fuel, although I won't name specifics.

  • @kevinklinkmuller its just a joke...

  • @kevinklinkmuller haha nice one dude, very funny... At least i hope your joking because how can you say that he hasn't contributed anything to the world when he makes videos EVERYDAY that help people and entertain people (with a sense of humor though- sorry it seems you dont have one ). He isn't making fun of "them", he just is making fun. I enjoyed the video greatly - and its not like you are going to wall street to protest. Jealousy is a terrible thing man, just because you want his lifestyle

  • XD love it Chris, bed rhymes with Fed :)

  • Poor little things. You're a bad man Chris Pirillo.

  • cute doggies

  • God help you when you have children

  • @Shahbaz7371 #OccupyLife

  • Lets see if #OccupyBed trends on Twitter! Pixie, don't look away! Wicket wants treats!

  • Lol ur dogs are so quiet!

  • Lupe Fiasco.

  • I thought this was funny and I don't even like dogs!

  • I like turtes

  • @xXFallinPhamousXx Me gusta las tortugas

  • @pixelnat0r Ich mag Schildkröten

  • hey i just clicked the video to see the cute dogs! thumbs up if you did the same thing!

  • @theanthony345

    Thumbed up the video.

  • freedom of protest is amazing.

  • Awwwwwwwwwwwww! SO CUTE!

  • @WeAreAnonymousLuuLZ - Yes, it's called satire. I'm trying to CALL ATTENTION to what's happening. Ya know, instead of casting the protests in a negative light. I figured humor was the best way to do it. They're dogs, for chrissake.

  • @lockergnome You should've done one of your little vlogs; people will always take offense to satire. Cute dogs by the way.

  • i like the videos Chris :) u r funny and really love your dogs :)))

  • what breed of dog is that?

  • I liked this....Seriously, I swear I'm the only one.

  • damn so many asshurt kids in here. Lol how weak are you guys to get pissed over a youtube video

  • @DustyMeal Ah yes, let's just make fun of these people. Some of whom who are trying to change this system that has been steadfastly sending the economy down the crapper; While people are losing their jobs & homes because our government doesn't know when to stop writing checks, while bailing out companies & banks whom later gives their own, big bonuses with that money. All while I sit back, sipping on a glass of wine, in my comfy home, playing with my Star Wars figurines & Lego.

  • Chris: "Hmm, I'm gonna make a video of my dogs protesting on my bed for treats. Yes! That's a great idea!"

  • Chris this is funny but maybe poor taste I'm from UK and I have got respect for the people out there trying to start a change to how things operate as things are clearly not correct the way they are and if politicians and bankers don't listen what can we do e.g problem, west have been experience growth for around 30 years yet the average joe has not really seen his wage change much to reflect that growth it has all gone to the top one of many problems we have, peace man

  • @mattfm101 I don't think it's in bad taste, political satire has been a part of society for a very long time. It is fun to poke fun at the outrageous actions by people on both sides of the political spectrum =P

  • @macreviews94 I do agree, you make a good point, its just I think the protest is such a big thing at the moment and jokes on it now may have a negative impact, jokes after its achieved something would be better I think, thats just my opinion though - love people not money

  • I HATE all these faggots in the comment thread. They mean nothing.

  • This is freakin' awesome; puts the whole movement in perspective!...

  • This is not even funny.

  • Ha, another reason why I prefer cats, lol

  • Unsubbed, stick to technology you ignorant fuck. The protest was mainly about politicians being bought by corporations, such as top regulators in this country getting paid by said companies. Then after they've served their term they get over a $200,000 job working for the same corporations.

    It's called corruption you moron.

  • Holy cow at all the butthurt people in the comment thread. Chris was only trying humor and you guys just act like he should do technology all day without even having fun? You people are morons. Let Chris be who he chooses to be and if you don't like him for that then, you were never a true subscriber anyway and are just looking for a reason to unsub. Pathetic. Go whine somewhere else. If you are a TRUE subscriber, you will give this video a thumbs up.

  • @DrunkGamerNerd someone a pussy? Yes i think so.

  • @DrunkGamerNerd - That doesn't even make sense. I support the movement, dude. You missed my earlier photo share, apparently.

  • @lockergnome This situation reminds me of The Onion who made a jab at Steve Jobs death only two hours later.

  • @TitusF2 After the news was released that is.

  • @TitusF2 - Who died?

  • @lockergnome It was a misunderstanding nothing more. Take Care, Anon

  • @DrunkGamerNerd - Thank you. I'd encourage you to scope my Twitter feed from earlier. I caught an amazing shot of what I believed to be a very poignant expression. Anon was holding a sign over his head: "Peaceful Revolution." It was shared about four hours ago. My earlier posts on Google+ have also illustrated support for speaking out and making a difference - I haven't swayed from that. Apologies.

  • @lockergnome I will take a look at that , it sounds like it will be awesome. I will go right now, sorry for the misunderstanding. To many energy drinks must be clouding my thought process. Really need some sleep that must be whats distorting my judgement. - Peace

  • @DrunkGamerNerd - Quite alright. I think we're on the same side. :) I'll be uploading some footage that I shot at #OccupySeattle this afternoon later onto my Google+ profile.

  • sooo cute

  • Do better videos

  • I find it unbelievable the stance Chris seems to take. The people sure know the demands. Only problem is that noone at Fox News ever asked them.

  • Fuck off Chris, I've had it with you.

  • @oskArtist awwwww is it your time of the month?

  • I'll subscribe again when I see some technology.

  • @thedarkone2134 every sub counts!

  • stay a slave then bro. they live we sleep.

  • I don't know if this is supposed to be sarcastic or not...

  • common guys its just a joke! stop taking everything so seriously! just because he's not in his office doesn't mean that you have to hate every video that isn't filmed there!
