Sevendust isn't a Pop Metal band, see what Nuclearblast does to Death Metal bands. They turn them mainstream, and the talent always leaves the band. Nice going Nuclear blast, you turned a Death Melodic band into a shitty popmetal band. Too bad the Unguideds album got a 4.5 a with old SS and this album got what, a 1 or 1.5?

Then sonic syndicate band held auditions for a new singer, and when Nathan began singing for them, they got chills down they're spines, why? because he has an AMAZING voice, I get chills from his singing, its a lot better than rolands!

I'm not pleased with the change in sound either, but hopefully, it's just a phase of experimenting. With the new singer and all.

Hopefully they will go back to their old style in the next album.

They do have at least one song that sounds like Only Inhuman and LAOD on the new album, though.

The song "Break of Day" could pretty much have been on Only Inhuman or LAOD and it's a damn good track too.

The song We Rule The Night isn't all too bad either.

you can say roland was better, and maybe for their old style he was, but biggs is amazingly talented, much stronger than roland was, but his style is more toward the pop side. Sure, its different, but this is still good music and good music will always simply be good music. Just because they dont sound the same doesnt mean it sounds bad.

Though they have definetly changed their sound.

Roland was terrific for the band but Nathan provides an extremely diverse range to the band's sound capability in terms of his vocal abilities. No one hates upon Roland but Sonic are destructive without him, this song is insanely fucking badass, it would dominate live - i can't picture Roland being able to fit in the band anymore. maybe you should become more appreciative of their music and not captilise every word
