  • Thanks for that vid! i didn't know how to use those shampoo bars but now i do thanks!!!

  • they contain sodium lauryl sulphate which is really bad for you, that is what creates the lather

  • i was going to buy one of these however they are not 100% natural

  • Wow, that's waaaaaay too much rubbing the hair........

  • -2.39 lol, great video anyhow:-)

  • This video has been posted a long time ago but... I just baught a Godiva Bar and I needed someone to explain how to use it so.. thank you !! :)

  • is that godvia??? not quite sure how to spell it though

  • @vw1122 Well since she did say it was ultimate shine at the beginning- I am guessing it isnt godiva- lol

  • @georgousAndGossip oh yar and babbo is that ur real name- its funny

  • Your mother bears a striking resemblance to mine. And she has the same eye colour, and the same sad/bored/embarrased look that I know so well. It makes me so uncomfortable watching this, haha. But I needed the info, so I just kept watching. Oh well :)

  • I went to the Lush store and the sellings lady said to only to go around the head 3 times. That MORE than enough. You were rubbing it for almost a minute?

  • @Svetlap Well i suppose its up to the indidvual but our hair is thick, and when i did hairdressing at college, they said to get hair squeaky clean you need to really clean it well. Thanx for your suggestion tho.

    Babbo x

  • I have you lush products for years and I am waiting delivery on an order this week that will have my first solid shampoo in it. I am really looking forward to trying it out now that I have seen you use it. I ordered the Karma one. Have you tried that one ?

  • your voice is fucking annoying............

  • Bless :) your mum seems to be enjoying that :)

  • i had mine for 63 washes i wanted to test how many washes i had lol

  • @lushcosmetics101 Cool well worth the money then x

  • agressive much....ahah jk

  • Problem with Lush shampoo bars is that they still contain SLS - which is not good, and it also fades hair dye too. Oh, and they're expensive. I just make my own - takes 10 minutes to do, costs almost nothing and no SLS. Leaves my hair really soft and shiny too.

  • How many washes would one bar go through if i kept it in a tin? Many thanks x

  • @WeDoHaveCookies Hi There, Depending on your hair length i say a 100g bar would last up to around 52 washes xxx

  • Your makeup is way too dark for your face...

  • @sarahomalleyWHAT Unnecessary.

  • Skin candy has better shampoo bars. they last twice as long and are much less than lush. The bars are 5oz and are only $5.00. they smell so good and I don't even need conditioner after using it. My hubby and I both use them and we love skin Candy stuff.

  • does this leave your scalp dry?

  • @RYRYTERRIFY12

Nope it leaves my scalp nice and even dandruff free

  • Am I the Only one who finds that her mom looks really ANGRY!?

  • @MegaToodlez No just depressed.

  • i love your accent!

  • what is it called again, and do they still do it and how much?x

  • have u ever used 'new' which is also a shampoo bar from lush and if so does it really help your hair to grow

  • Your mum looked so pissed! Thumbs up if you agree!

  • @msnowmi99 Why you gotta be a thumbs up whore?

  • @CullenGirl1997Xo Why you gotta be a bitch? Exactly.

  • @msnowmi99 Why can't you take a joke? Psst. but still, That was already a top rated comment, no need to say it again, mmhkay?

  • @CullenGirl1997Xo Yo, calm down CULLEN

  • @msnowmi99 Funny story: My friend who loves twilight had this account, and used my e-mail to create it. all my shit is saved here so I just use it. Twilight is shit, but I have a crapload of favorites, in the current process of changing into a new account.

  • You should be a presenter, your voice is nice to listen to.

  • I love this girl!

  • you know the shampoo bars is it like washing your hair with a bar of soap.. like do you just shampoo youir hair with it so the same as you could was your hair with a bar of soap>???

  • Could u do a review on the godiva shampoo bar? thanks x

  • I just started using the shampoo bars and I love it haha :D they're so small but it looks as if I haven't used anything of them :)

I'm really in love with Lush, I actually don't want to use anything else on my body anymore XD

  • Yelolowlwowlowlwowteeth

  • I like your accent

  • what are suds?

  • @chinaheart25 It's kind of like a bubbly foam usually made from soap and water. Hope this helps! :D

  • thank you so much for making this video. i recently bought a shampoo bar and the woman explained to me how to use it, but i wanted to be able to see how exactly to use it.

  • Do you need to rinse the bubbles off the bar before storing it in the tin?

Or do you just put it in once you're done with it?

  • i need to add alot of water to mine, that way it makes big bubbles!

  • oh my god. you are gorgeous

  • I have just the thing to store and hang the shampoo bar between use. It's called a Soap Tote. My video shows how it's used.

  • Your mum doesnt look amused :S omg your hair is FRIKKEN gorgeous :D, if thats what ultimate shine did im so getting it, do you use a conditioner after using a shampoo bar?

  • feels like baking soda. most natural washer

  • 5 stars for talking your mum into letting you wash her hair on YouTube!!!

  • PMSL YOUR MUM LOOKS SO UNIMPRESSED HAHAHA OMG I THINK I JUST WEED

  • ive heard alot of bad things about shampoo bars and how they are damaging.

is LUSH shampoo bars chemical free? and sulfate laureth free?

  • @Calpico852 if you want to check, they have it on their website.

  • @Calpico852 They are not sulfate free, the ingrediants are on the lush website :)

  • well she looks very happy and excited

  • what conditioner do you use afterwards?xxx

  • you don't need to rub it in your hands like that, when you're in the shower and your hands are wet in will lather up easily, and plus this way it lasts longer.

  • i love your hair!

  • I think you did this video very well and now i know how to use a shampooo bar form Lush THANK YOU XXX

  • Great video and demon of the lush shampoo bar.

  • You are very pretty!

  • I love your accent! :D

  • you remind me of demi lavato - i think its your hair :)

  • @xLilLattex thank you xx

  • @xLilLattex yeaz, it's def. the hair XD

  • how many washes will the shampoo bar last if i was going to get 1 i am thinking about it but i am worried that i wouldn't get many uses out of it ??

  • @GlamorousGlitter4 It depends on how often you use it to be honest. QAlso keep it dry after use by putting it in a tin or away from water xx

  • @GlamorousGlitter4 the salesperson told me abou 70-90 uses depending on how much hair you have

  • @GlamorousGlitter4 the lady at lush told me it lasts about 90 washes :]

  • @GlamorousGlitter4 - According to the people at my local Lush store, it lasts about 80 washes.

  • @GlamorousGlitter4 - the reps at my local Lush store told me about 80 washes.

  • @GlamorousGlitter4 it is supposed to last around 80 washes

    <3

  • my mom loves to go to the salon to get haircuts because they wash hair just like you do. it looks like it feels so good cuz you're massaging the scalp. im interested in trying lush for the first time. thanks for this, babbo!

  • @christentze I love getting a head massage when they apply conditioner ;-) i would recommend the shampoo bars there really long lasting!! x hope u like lush x

  • @babbotv i think i will try one out. you convinced me! i really like that they're travel friendly and they can't ever spill! i imagine they would be great on backpacking trips and such. every time i go on holidays, i have to go to the market and buy a bottle of conditioner and shampoo that i, of course, never finish before heading back home. this seems way more economical. i hope it works for me since this is different from typical shampoo. thanks again, babbo!

  • I shall buy one of them! :) This video helped s lot, thank you

  • @Amy0001000 ;-) glad it helped they really are amazing x

  • you look so much like your mum! Your mum looks quite angry though.. :S

  • boy that chic looks happy

  • Haha. Your mom doesn't seem to enjoy this very much :) Does it hurt your scalp though? I've heard that many people said their scalp went red, the had scabs, etc.

  • @iloveemomuffins lol she got dragged in to helping out. ill get her to smile next time. Ive never had any problems with a sore scalp? Maybe they had an allergic reation or pressed on way too hard? I think personally its better to use than bottled stuff now and makes my hair feel soft x

  • Hi. Just want to point out that shampoo bars are much better for the planet since there is no plastic packaging. It would be great if you would mention this benefit in your videos as well. Zero waste and not contributing to the plastic pollution accumulating in the world's oceans.

  • @bethfly Thank you for pointing that important point out i will mention it next x

  • @bethfly Only problem is that I have fine hair so have spend ages picking hairs out of the shampoo bar.

  • you look like you're 15 or 16 in this video.. i think it lathers good... i just really hate the smell.

  • Thank you 1101robindrive thats a real complement as im 21, its a shame u hate the smell as it gives a great shine. x

  • I bought a 'Soak & Float' bar the other day and can't for the life of me figure out how long I'm meant to keep it in my hair for it to work. At the moment I keep it in or about 2 minutes as I would any other shampoo..So yea how long is it meant to stay in for :D?

  • Hi Ramyfication

To be honest i havent tried this one but seen as its for treating the scalp heres what i would suggest:

Shampoo as normal but leave in for 10 minutes(i know it seems weird for a shampoo but it is to help treat the scalp and you cud paint nails or do a facial while you wait) to insure it soaks in to your scalf and roots effectivley.

Hope this helps x Babbo x

  • Are you a LUSH sponsor/ambassador?xx

  • Hi PurpleStarfish213

No i do no work at all for lush at all. All my videos are my own personal opinion ;-) xx

  • do you get paid for these videos? lol you sound like your reading off a script x

  • Lol no defiently not, its all straight out my head hense the "erm.." but ;-) im glad it sounds rehersed xx

  • I was just wondering which one is best for frizzy hair? I sometimes get dandruff. I bought squeaky green but i haven't tried it yet please help:)

  • I would have said squeaky green so you must try it.. im using it at the minute and its great for a dandruff scalf. If all else fails apply a good conditioning treatment weekly to smooth down the cucticles. xx

  • @babbotv Thanks so much! I am going to try it! Can't wait for my things to arrive:)

  • ;-) i hope you like them let me know x

  • your hair is gorgeous!

it just makes me want to buy ultimate shine in hopes my hair would look like yours=P

  • which shampoo bar is good for oily hair

  • Hi I would try Jumping Juniper as it helps to control oily hair xxx

  • since it's retro what is another one for oily hair you would recommend?

  • YSqueaky Green

  • You can still get reto, but anyway i have tried "Squeaky Green" although it does not state it helps with access oil ive find it works really well eliminating access oil and products of fthe scalp. ;-) Hope this helps xxx

  • @babbotv ok thank you <33

  • Mum looks cross...lol. ;)

  • Next time ill bribe her with sweets lol x

  • @MissingNan Yes. LOL :))

  • You have such beautiful hair & excellent makeup! I havent tried Lush but intend to. Just started using Tigi Rockaholic bar & love it! I actually bought it for my 17 yr old son. A bar is amazing! I have natural platinum hair with a darker auburn colored underneath & the bar gave my hair tons of shine & NO frizz on the colored ends & I did NOT need a conditioner. I did use Healthy sexy soy leave in spray on the ends to detangle my hair as it is very long. Good info! Thanks

  • Hi Watchinthefoolshere

Thank you for the lovely comment ;-)

I havent used Tigi before but it sounds great im going to try it, as i suffer from frizz.

    Babbo xxx

  • mine keeps getting stuck in the container..do i have to let it dry first before putting it back in the tin?

  • Hey mimomichelle

I leave mine to dry first defiently, then theres no mess or waste xx

  • Do the bars last very long with you?

I just got my first one yesterday :)

  • I think so yer, alot longer than a bottle x

  • lol its not complicated thatl just be me trying to catch all angles on the film, its so easy, and no messy bottles ;-) thanx lol x

  • and 1 shampoo bar have the equivalent of 3 plastic bottles of shampoo in 1 bar! which is fabulous! :) less waste in this world.

  • ;-)

  • Thanks!!! I was wondering how to use the shampoo. I am going to buy it now.

  • You should! They are great xxx

  • Hi Babbo! Love your videos :D ive got a couple of different shampoo bars (godiva, soft, seanik and squeaky green) and ive found that they leave my hair in AMAZING condition.. better than some expensive brand and salon shampoos ive bought. Godiva is my absolute fave, it smells like their Flying Fox Shower Gel. :) leaves my hair SO soft and shiny, love LUSH!!! xx

  • Hey xpeachx100

wow you have quite a selection they are ace. ive just bought a few more to try. they should use them in salons xxxx
