its better to use food coloring its not to expensive its like 2 bucks at local markets . i made your clay it was WAYY to dry but i ate it lol it tastes like chocolate and a little bit of salt because i used less salt lol anyways just buy food coloring so you dont have to do all that hard work to get hot beet juice and turmeric .

does it ever dries up ?? cos I want to make clay for myself and make cool jewelery out of it so I'll need it to harden after I shape. and since I'm not making it for younger kids can you put in paint instead of cocoa for colour ?? will I use acrylic paint??

Eventually it will dry out,but if you are going to make jewelry and other stuff, I recommend polymer clay. I have never tried putting paint in it.I think it would get really messy because the paint would get all over your hands and bowl.

I know about polymer clay but they're sooo expensive and there aren't much crafts store selling that kind of stuff here o I wanted to make my own clay. I thought maybe 'll just use flour,water,oil, mix it and knead it then I'll add in paint and knead i again. if that makes sense to you... and can you bake them if you want it to harden ?? will it leave cracks and stuff when you're done ?? sorry for the amount of questions here... =P
