@Bethintx1 Thanks for that help. So stupid here on my laptop it is showing perfectly, the link that is, but I was watching at the time on my Ipad and the link isn't there. Information is showing up quite differently. At least I have learned something ---check on the computer.
Merry Christmas, Beth! I love the cowl. I'm going to start it right away. I finished all my holiday gifting projects, and am ready to do something fun for myself. Thanks!
This is a dumb question, but when you buy your yarn do you take it out of the wrapper and make a ball out of it? Do you just use it the way it is? if so, where is the end of it? I can never find it, and I need to know how the easiest way is to use it to where as it doesn't get messed up.
@whisperingdragon33 I leave it in the wrapper. If it is a pull-skein, I find the tail coming from the center of the skein. Some brands tie the beginning and end tails together, others, like Red Heart will have a little arrow on the label. Red heart you usually pull out the outer tail from the left side (when your label is facing you right side up) then you pull the center tail out from the right side.
If the yarn comes in hanks, then I might pre wind it.
Hi Beth, thanks for the warm welcome :) I've been watching your channel for a long time and I love all your videos. I love all your items this week. I'm gonna have to try that cowl :) Take care and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays :)
You look great! Very different from when I subscribed a couple of months ago. I don't follow weight loss diary , but just wanted to share the complement. BTW, the cowl is pretty.
I just started crochet and I wanted to start my first project. I can't seem to do a granny square :( do you think its easier for me to just make a scarf? The yarn I got is chunky and the granny square seem difficult.
@co0kiem0nster05 Have you tried my How to crochet granny square videos? If you have and are having trouble, then go to my back to Basics series. Go to my channel page. search Back to Basics. then watch and follow in the order they were uploaded.
I have made that blanket and have the magazine it came out of! I've done several and I've even threaded ribbon through the border and tied it in a corner. Aw man, you rock, Beth!
@sweetpaganrose The color is hard to define. It's not exactly pink, not exactly peach. not really salmon and not bright enough for a sherbet. Not rose either.
Thanks for providing the link to the Mossy Cowl pattern. I made it and it turned out great!

@NancyToday You can watch them all! To make a video for Fresh off Tha Hook, you have to crochet, but to watch one you do not have to know anything!
