  • Thanks for providing the link to the Mossy Cowl pattern. I made it and it turned out great!

  • That sound like my husband. LOL

  • I can't find the link for the cowl beneath the video. Perhaps i am blind. I see the one for the scarf but not the mossy cowl.

  • @Busso60 the first link is Marcelles channel the second link is the Mossy cowl. The third link is the scarf.

  • @Bethintx1 Thanks for that help. So stupid here on my laptop it is showing perfectly, the link that is, but I was watching at the time on my Ipad and the link isn't there. Information is showing up quite differently. At least I have learned something ---check on the computer.

  • Merry Christmas, Beth! I love the cowl. I'm going to start it right away. I finished all my holiday gifting projects, and am ready to do something fun for myself. Thanks!

  • This is a dumb question, but when you buy your yarn do you take it out of the wrapper and make a ball out of it? Do you just use it the way it is? if so, where is the end of it? I can never find it, and I need to know how the easiest way is to use it to where as it doesn't get messed up.

  • @whisperingdragon33 I leave it in the wrapper. If it is a pull-skein, I find the tail coming from the center of the skein. Some brands tie the beginning and end tails together, others, like Red Heart will have a little arrow on the label. Red heart you usually pull out the outer tail from the left side (when your label is facing you right side up) then you pull the center tail out from the right side.

If the yarn comes in hanks, then I might pre wind it.

  • @Bethintx1 ok, I got it. Thank you.

  • Thanks for the Hanukah wishes Beth.

Merry Christmas to you and family.

    G-d bless you.

    Happy hooking,

    Yoka

  • Hi Beth, thanks for the warm welcome :) I've been watching your channel for a long time and I love all your videos. I love all your items this week. I'm gonna have to try that cowl :) Take care and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays :)

  • That cowl is awesome! It's on my to do list for sure!

And I love your all inclusive holiday greetings:).

  • You look great! Very different from when I subscribed a couple of months ago. I don't follow weight loss diary , but just wanted to share the complement. BTW, the cowl is pretty.

  • I just started crochet and I wanted to start my first project. I can't seem to do a granny square :( do you think its easier for me to just make a scarf? The yarn I got is chunky and the granny square seem difficult.

  • @co0kiem0nster05 Have you tried my How to crochet granny square videos? If you have and are having trouble, then go to my back to Basics series. Go to my channel page. search Back to Basics. then watch and follow in the order they were uploaded.

  • I love all your stuff!

  • I absolutely love that Cowl!

  • Love your items this week I can not pic my fav this week I think they are all beautiful :)

  • I have made that blanket and have the magazine it came out of! I've done several and I've even threaded ribbon through the border and tied it in a corner. Aw man, you rock, Beth!

  • Ha! I am watching this video wearing the same Mother Bear T-shirt! Great minds! Merry Christmas!

    - Carrie M.

  • @caribeth1180 Gotta love Motherbear!

  • Love all your work! Merry Christmas to you and your family.....

  • Love the Cowl Beth, I like how its so flowy :) what type of yarn is that? it looks really soft.

  • @onevirtuouswoman It's a vintage yarn from Lion Brand called Softy.

  • Love the cowl, the color is so pretty :) And the lacy blanket is adorable :)

  • @sweetpaganrose The color is hard to define. It's not exactly pink, not exactly peach. not really salmon and not bright enough for a sherbet. Not rose either.

  • @Bethintx1 I love your color explanation lol. Whichever color is falls under it is very pretty :) And it looks sooo comfy.

  • I love that lacy one. That would work for a temple altar cloth!

  • @NancyToday I know! That stitch is beautiful!

  • Merry Christmas Beth. It's happy knitting for me tonight, crocheting tomorrow... :)

  • Love the cowl.

  • Can I see the fresh on the hook videos eventhough I'm not a crocheter, too much?

  • @NancyToday You can watch them all! To make a video for Fresh off Tha Hook, you have to crochet, but to watch one you do not have to know anything!

  • @Bethintx1 I am very good at not knowing anything! LOL
