Its smooth because thats how the song was recorded the remix cuts off the vocals before the she can finish it. Every thing is based on 4s and there are segments of 16 32 64 128. If you listen to DJ friendly version they always have a long intro and long outro. They are always either 64 beats or 128 and in some cases 256. When you DJ for a long time you expect things to be in a certain way. I was doing something else while this song was playing and the flaw caught my attention right away.

@djp828 i know what a 4/4 beat is.. but by virtue of it being a remix throws 'some' commonly expected conventions out the window. some dj's like to mix it up like that. there are other euro mixes where similar 'shimmies' are done to the song that screw up the rhythm for the overall effect.

while it may differ from the norm, its certainly not unexpected - i wouldn't consider it a flaw.
