i hate when people take the piss out of us Scots! and for stupid reasons!! i had a bunch of people giving me hell on a social networking site for being scottish and the reason was because of the way i speak they said that we shouldn't change or adapt the english language to fit our culture! but the thing people do not realize is that it is in fact racism! I watched this film yesterday. More precisely, I watched about 20 minutes of it. Then I could no longer stand its one-sidedness. Did you know that the Scots had been raiding English borders for centuries? They were in chaos, and the English were a calming influence.

One of the best movies of ALL time, no, one of the best THINGS OF ALL TIME. I remember when i first watched braveheart. Summer after 8th grade year, i was watching the showtime channels all bored and what not, and it was 3 in the morning. I saw "Braveheart" and im like what the hell ill watch it. recently we thought his father's name was Malcom as stated in Blind Harry. However the Lubeck Letter which re-emerged recently has his seal on it and it seems to say "William Wallace son of Alan". The point is that we don't in fact know very much about him at all and most of what we take as true actually comes from a work of literary faction written long after his time.

William Wallace was a descendant of a Danish viking, fact. Excellent movie, definitely had inaccuracies, but who cares? The casting was superb, the soundtrack was superb, just an all time excellent movie!

His name suggests that his paternal family were originally Britons - and common sense would say they'd probably have come from the area where he lived which was British Strathclyde until just a couple of centuries before his time. It is all specualtion though. No-one knows so saying something is 'fact' is pointless. Until

Not just the entirety of Great Britain, but the entire commonwealth came together to fight in World War II. Old rivalries have developed into mutual respect and trust. We will always be a hardy people, most of all the Scots. They do live up North afterall!

@naruto7332 A-levels are like what you take after you finish secondary school (High School) You do your A-levels in college, sometimes universtiy-they are friggin hard! Cadets is a military youth organisation (Army, Navy, Marines and Royal Air Force) I'm Royal Air Force, it goes all the way back to WW1. At the moment I taking my flying scholarship (Lincense to fly) One of the things we do, it's simular to your military camps. We're called the Air Training Corps-look it up if you want it's awsome
