  • Cory an Eric had the best father..I didn't like Alan when he thought shawn got cory drinking an it put in jail

  • I always thought Alan was cool.

  • Mr.Mac= Styles from Teen Wolf?

  • he push the hell out of him lol

  • what i love about this show totally, they ALWAYS faced reality and whenver somebody forgot about reality and what life is, they MADE this see it in whatever way they had to.

  • Damn, Shawn has been through so much. Being part of a cult, working for the mob, alcoholism, being left by both of his parents, losing his dad. What a trooper

  • I really wish i had teachers like Mr. Turner and Mr. Feeney, they made guys like Shawn Hunter have a chance in this world

  • I used to watch this when i was a kid then watched it on youtube 4 years ago and all of a sudden NOW im just getting high and ive been watching boy meets world all over again lol

  • omg this was my FAVORITE scene I loved Alan for this

  • Such an awesome show!! Boy Meets World rocks!!

  • i really wish they would put this on netflix instant stream

  • This is the most fucking intense thing I've seen in 2012.

  • I loved this episode back in the day. That guy was such a pedo lol

  • Mr. Mac needed a beat down

  • Finally, TV takes on the allure of cults on teenagers. It's a problem that needs addressing.

  • What episode is this from?

  • @hiphop3d Cult Fiction. season 4, ep 21.

  • @crimsonflare506 Thanks

  • it gives me goosebumps. i love watching people stand up like that!

  • Shawn - i dnt wanna be empty inside anymore.....K i admit i started crying like a baby.

  • HOW MANY TIME! BELIEVING IN GOD IS NOT A CULT!!! (sighs)

  • @ItsSoMe2011 That's not the part that they were referring to when they mentioned the cult lol In the episode, Shawn was confused and not sure what he believed or who he was or anything, and he got mixed up in this cult where basically it was just a bunch of teens living together and basing their

  • @ItsSoMe2011 every action on the words of this Mr. Mack guy whom you see in this scene. Then when he saw Mr. Matthews stand up to the guy who had been manipulating him and saw who was really there for him and who really cared, he figured out all the things he was confused about, as you can see here.

  • teared up! i love how shawn spoke to God - heart moving

  • one of my favorite episodes ever !! i really miss this show

  • this show is always so good at reminding me that there are bigger things in life than the petty bullshit i inadvertently worry about everyday. even though i am way younger than this show and i wasnt even alive for the first half year of it, its my favorite and it teaches me so many valuable lessons. im about to graduate high school and this show helps me through some of my biggest and smallest problems.

  • remember guys.. Alan used to box in the navy.. and he won 2nd place in a the navy boxing competition i believe. so he can kick some ass.

  • i hate mr.mac!!! freakin jackass!!!

  • The best moments were all of the Shawn and Alan moments

  • So Shawn trades one cult for another?! Lol

  • I just want to say, I forgive you for trying to shut us down

  • Cults usually aren't about beliefs. They're usually about some asshole with an ego behind some closed door making money off people's desperation/loneliness. Kind of like acting workshops making money off desperate actors.

  • amazing acting!

  • "And in any event, there are many more just like him"

And that's the mentality of cult leaders. They don't care about the ones they're trying to "lead". They just care about who they're ripping off.

  • at the beginning of 1:50 I keep thinking mr. feeny is about to say "well i really don't give a fuck" before mr. mac cuts him off

  • Seriously one of the most emotional episodes. I started tearing up. I love Shawn because his charcter always felt so real, so emotinal. I love Boy Meets World.

  • omg when cory hugged shawn i started tearing up :'(

  • I always wondered if Mr. Turner died or if he was considered too seriously injured to come back to teach. Any insight?

  • @metaldude82 Even though this was his last appearance, I assume he didn't die, Stewart called out to him off screen in the graduation episode. So unless he was mistaken, he survived the crash. Although that was such a throw away reference I wouldn't put it past the writer(s) to have simply forgotten about this arc. I think the intent in this episode was to leave it up in the air for us to decide. when I originally saw this episode I assumed he survived anyway.

  • @gmcubed Either way, was the motorcycle crash intended as a way to write off his character?

  • @metaldude82 Well I hear he was meant to come back the following season, but he didn't renew his contract and found other work. Not sure if there's any truth to this though.

  • @gmcubed I see. But, was the motorcycle accident met to be a way to write him off the show?

  • @gmcubed If that is the case, I think that the accident was written in to be the reason for him to leave the show regardless of whether or not he died. Anyone agree?

  • Alan! whooo!! Like a BOSS!!

  • sucks how this was the last appearance of Mr. Turner...

  • alan matthews = still my favorite tv dad today. burt hummel is a close second

  • @klarebear7211 couldnt agree more.

  • @corygiotz

In the episode Eric joins the cult for a day "just because of the hugs"

  • Gotta watch out for those cult leaders, they're everywhere.

  • @corygiotz Will Ferrel? lol you mean Will Friedle?

  • @gmcubed

    Think he meant Will Barrel.

  • the 4 people who disliked this have never been hugged.

  • best show ever, Ben and Riders are very good actors

  • God this show always got to me, i related to shawn so much, and i grew up in the "hood" "ghetto" "varrio" etc., i only wish i had a friend like cory

  • dont worry shawn,God didnt take turner away.....the makers of bmw did:(

  • Ya, whatever happend to Mr. Turner?

  • It always amazed me that they NEVER brought back Mr. Turner.

He was a HUGE supporting character and more importantly Sean's father figure.

Why didn't they EVER bring him back?!?

  • you don't need to be blood-related to be a family. Alan, Cory, Mr. Feeny, and Mr. Turner; they all want to be there for Shawn. Definitely one of the most powerful moment that I have seen on TV

  • whatever happened to Mr.turner?

  • FML, this always makes me weep, i miss this tv series so much :|

  • if anthony tyler quinn wasn't coming back after this episode, wouldn't it make more sense to kill him off in this episode?

  • Anybody else notice that Alan Matthews and Frankie Stechino are both in American History X?

  • @BassAssassin9 they are?

  • @bellajacklil Yeah, Alan plays Derek's dad and Frankie plays Seth.

  • "You can't have Shawn!"

    Love you, Feeny.

  • mr.turner was hotttt hahaha

  • woow its kittt

  • 1:20

  • Allen Checked the shit out that dude ! why was they so mad at the other dude ??? can someone tell me please !

  • @NittyNilt He's a cult leader. He manipulates teens into living with him. It was never elaborated on exactly what his end goal was. We never saw him do anything but convince teens to live with him, but he obviously had a lot of power, which is never a good thing.

  • @gmcubed ohh thanx man

  • @gmcubed end goal is the same as any cult, it's about brainwashing for money and power.

  • @TearisShatteredMoon In a general sense, sure. But some cults have very specific things the leader wants.

  • @gmcubed Yes there are other things as well that tie in, but pretty much it comes back to money and power. power including the ability to control or harm others

  • Not gonna lie, when Alan said he'd kill to protect Shawn I got that lump in my throat. Then Cory hugging Shawn and telling him that he cares brought on the tear. I really miss this show.

  • i cried at this whole scene

  • That was one epic shove

  • Man... I've never seen this eps

  • It's been said before and I'm saying it again. This is what Disney needs to bring back. They need to bring back shows that reach out to the whole family. Shows that aren't afraid to touch on topics that recognize the real world isn't always sunshine and laughs. Shows that aren't ashamed to mention God and show how spiritual living is just as important as morals.

On behalf of all those that have young ones, whether children or siblings, I beg of you Disney... Please bring back quality shows.

  • @guardian921 I agree so much with this. My future children will definitely be watching these old shows and not whatever crap is undoubtedly going to be on tv 10 or so years from now >_>

  • @guardian921 I agree. People are so afraid now to even talk about God, now calling true Christianity itself a cult. Makes me angry that they talk about Him that way.

  • The cast of this show are some of the best group of actors I have ever seen.

  • chills.

  • Alan Matthews is one of the best TV fathers

  • I agree 100% with Alan Matthews

  • Its called cult fiction

  • Best. Show. Ever.

  • Awesome episode one of my favorites thanks for posting

  • Tell em Alan

  • which episode and season is this ?

  • also, best quote "i dont do alone real good"

  • alan mattews, a fucking boss

  • Remind me of something my own father would do.

  • God, I loved this show!

  • this show did everything right. every actor delivers stellar performances. its something out of a martin scorsese film its so good. the comedy is funny as hell and its not stupid kids comedy but its also for adults (especially seasons 5, 6, and 7). it has a perfect balance of drama and comedy. the characters are very interesting and relatable. im not only saying this as a huge fan, but as a general person. this IS the BEST show of all time.

  • Out of all the episodes of this series, this was my favorite Alan moment. He was a fantastic TV dad. And Mr. Feeney was the best teacher. He still is.

  • ALAN MATTHEWS FTW.

  • @Adoreian i did, but also the pause and what he said still made it on Friday night.

  • Oh my goodness, this was a really good episode.

  • When Mr.Feeny says "You can't have Shawn!!", it just gives me chills :)

I miss this show so much...

  • This is probably my favorite show.

  • I thought I watched every episode until I saw this clip.

  • shawn always had those scenes that made ya wanna cry and give him a hug.

  • This was a tear jerker.

  • 4 people were members of Mr. Mack

  • what episode is this?

  • Alan is the best T.V dad he's such a great example of what a dad should be

  • Hey if Alan beat the crap out or Mr Mac he won't need to go far for medical attention He's in the hospital LMAO

  • "Look, I know you don't respect my philosophy but for kids who feel lost and have an emptiness in their lives, I'm here-to give them a sense of belonging

    -You can't have Shawn!"

  • We don't have shows like this anymore :/ I miss the 90's

  • "I think there's a lot of anger here..." GOOD CALL XD

  • 1:21 prolly one of my favorite moments in the series.

  • I love Allen & Mr Feeny!

  • It kills me that there are shows like Bridalplasty and Jersey Shore on nowadays. Where did we go wrong? Between then and now.

  • THIS IS A HUG!!!

    best bromance ever.

  • @mr8572carl2 I seem to remember an article that said he had, but I haven't found anything recently that says he is, so maybe it was a false report. Catch ya on the flip side.

  • I loved that part where Alan stand up to that jerk Mr. Mack.

  • easily one of the best moments of this entire show, if not tv in general...

  • It's too bad that they didn't keep with the storyline of Shawn finding God. I think it could've been an interesting aspect of his character. And yes, I know there was some article some years ago saying that Rider had turned to atheism, though I don't remember where I saw it. I'm just sayin', this would've been an interesting angle for the series. Catch ya on the flip side.

  • i will kill 2 protect shaun hunter from ppl like u...alan he would love a lawsuit-best line ever by the writers

  • "I think there's a lot of anger here."

    NO SHIT. hahaha.

  • That's Jerry Levine. He played Styles in TEEN WOLF

  • William Russ is a fucking great actor.

  • what episode is this?

  • @UnitedWeStand90 Mr. Mack did not have anything to accomplish, except to see how far he can go to control his own teenage group.

  • Alan Matthews former Navy Seal, Dont Fuck with him

  • shawns a little bitch in this episode

  • I like when Eric stood up and glared down Mac. Gave the impression ''Father and Son kill time!''

  • Yeah those cults break people down emotionally and psychologically. Then they take advantage of them. Another perversion of the mind or something. Your true friends will help u discover yourself.

  • OMG HE MOVED HIS FINGERS!!!!

    im gonna cry

  • @UnitedWeStand90 they're goal is to fuck up teenagers minds so that they later make them into some charity to steal money from.

least thats what i would guess.

  • rider strong is the best child star ever. and shawn is the best boy ever. i will always love them both.

  • @UnitedWeStand90 There's a lot of cults like that back in the 90's and even today..they target kids from Broken Homes...the sicko's get em hooked on drugs,sex..etc

But on the outside they look like they're helping but not...Watch a Movie Called "Bless the child"....it touches on those cults!

  • I never understood why...they cut out certain characters? Mr. Turner was a great Character...I would have liked to see him in the later years too..they should have brought him back..ikd...

I guess No show can be perfect!

  • Poor Shawn all the bad stuff happens to him

  • this scene still makes me tear up...love alan for standing up to mac

  • I have to agree with everyone else...the writers for this show were amazing. Unbelievably amazing, a true classic. This was true television.

  • Comment removed

  • that mr.mac seemed like a child molester or something

  • haha my principals name is mr mac and i hate him

  • anyone notive how they don't seem to believe in God in tv shows these days.

  • @Kumailh Yep thats the trend. It's gonna get worse.

  • @Kumailh Is that a bad thing in your opinion?

  • @Hallinilla9 its just sad. thats my opinion

  • @Kumailh It's evolution.

  • @Kumailh More like Soccer Moms crying out that they are forcing religion on their children because obviously the morals that many religions teach are bad.

Though that might explain why kids don't respect their parents anymore...>_>

  • topanga's outfit looks like she belongs on the uss enterprise, oh wait DS9, lol.

  • he phucked his azs?

  • dude Mr. Mac was in Teen Wolf.

  • @xerxerxex ya, he was Styles

  • @newjackrulez420 his best role ever!

  • Did Mr. Turner die in this episode? He's never seen again.

  • @TheCPComedykids He's never seen again, but he is referenced. Minkus calls out to him off screen in another episode. So no he's not dead.

  • @gmcubed they showed mr turner on another episode some time later, he had shorter hair like the accident made him be less biker and more teacher like...so in a way this was "the death" of turner... :(

  • @TheDmanWiThiN And which ep would that be? If you don't know the title at least tell me what happened in the ep so I can find it. I don't remember him appearing on screen in the series at all after this episode.

  • @gmcubed damn im having trouble, cuz i remember him having the shorter hair and sitting on the table, he was in the episode briefly...i hope im not confusing it with an episode prior to this when i guess they were fading him out...i love this show

  • @gmcubed what the creator is referring to is the backlash episodes of the finale. Mr turner was never seen again in the series execpt for the finale backlash, but The Season 5 finale, Minkus returned and called out for Mr. Turner, so Turner is still alive, although it is highly implied that Turner stopped with the bike riding, and started teaching some of the lower grades, or a Special ED class as well, or a elective class.

  • @gmcubed graduation episodeeee

  • @gmcubed i agree with @TheDmanWIThiN i have all the seasons except for the 7th and seen all of those episodes and dont recall turner ever bein seen

  • @TheDmanWiThiN That episode never happened..

  • @AceProductions91 prove it!!!!

  • @TheDmanWiThiN This was his last appearance according to IMDB.

  • @TheCPComedykids

To answer your question watch the episode they Graduate

  • @TheCPComedykids

I think they should had ended with him dying. Why not show him then?

  • @comixgod50 Not everything has to be spelled out for the viewer, its okay to let some things happen off screen. This probably had more of an emotional impact anyway, ending on his loved ones holding a picture of him when he was still alive and well. It really highlights the person they just lost. Also, no one was in the room as he died, so why should we as a viewer be allowed to see it? This way we get to react with the characters, get the news the same time they do.
