I saw him this year during his January run at Legends. He was sick, and said when he took the stage that he thought about cancelling, but couldn't do it. His voice was rough at first, but he seemed fortified by what I assume was a large cup of his beloved cognac. He came through and did a very fun and hilarious show (and Buddy's humor has always been key when I've seen him). Anyway...a very cool and tough old guy. Seen him about 30 times. Check my channel for some good raw blues, btw...
