my rats figured out how to run side by side on there wheel together and they run on it all tha time tho but i thought rats hated running on wheels

actually, wheels aren't so good in rat cages because they encourage repetetive behaviour. they should really have an open wheel with no gaps to reduce risk of tail trapping.

Usually, rats aren't wheel runners like hamsters. They are to lazy or too clever for this 8P

@Tristan129 Sorry, that's not true. I have 6 2 year old rats and they spend huge amounts of time every night running in their wheel. One of my boys quite enjoys stopping suddenly so it swings madly. Even when I'm not in with them I can hear the wheel creaking from the other room :-)
