@MrFlunkorg There is auto battle in the video so shhh! I've been an avid FF fan for a long time, but all I'm noticing in the new ones is the fact SQUARE-ENIX just seem to want to make films. Where's the fun of pressing one button repeatedly with no tactical thought, and why change from having such an open world with side quests etc. to a very straight up linear corridor of a game? Yes you had Gran Pulse in the last one with a bit of free roam, but definitely not enough for an FF game!

Why are they saying "Enhanced Battle System " and pretending that the PS is something entirely new WHEN its not. The only new thing I see is the fact that the only party members are two kids. I also heard that there's monster catching in the game. now monster catching is new. SO WHY AREN'T THEY FOCUSING ON THAT? Is it too much of them to make a trailer expiation of that? The only battle system I like is from 12, which was a step above random encounters and it felt like a real RPG for once. 10 at least was a change of pace from standing around defenseless, trying to figure out you want to use the fire spell or summon Satan, while the enemy takes several free shots at you. but 13 was and still is pure nonsense; no AI control so the enmy can use its super attack on you and everyone else in his line of fire.

In the end every Final Fantasy games has lovers and haters. I personally dislike 8 and 10 .. 8 because it is math. Combine this GF with that stat then draw cards from enemies and... WTH was that to mean?

And 10 for the same reason as 13 If you streamline things to much .. you could just as much watch a movie

@masticina One of the big differences is that 13-2 will have an open world... You obviously know nothing about it. It won't be like 13's linear storyline, it will be much more open and branched. To the point of having multiple endings in fact. You can even choose what to say in dialogues, use "gates" to travel through time, naturally altering the the plot heavily, and using these gates is completely optional.

You seriously need to read up on what a game is before jumping to conclusions. :/

@noshameism Personally i loved 12's system, The gambit system let me control my team mates to some degree unlike 13 where i had to watch the AI go Hurr Durr and spam cure instead of cura when my whole team was dieing and the on field battle of 12 allowed for some interesting non-disruptive-transition game-play much more immersive. 13 was the most boring shit, all i did was sit there spamming Auto attack and won the whole game, no skill strategy, 13-2 looks just as good -_-
