Any one know if you can keep a single full grown one in a 5700G tank along with multiple other reef fish including: Clownfish, Picasso Triggerfish, Unicorn Tang, Yellow Tang, Purple Tang, Blue Tang, Naso Tang, Lionfish, Pistol Shrimp, Yellow Watchmen Goby, Green Moray Eel, Angelfish, and a few other fish. Measurments: 12 feet (L), 8 feet (W), and 8 feet (H).
you could but it would eat some of the other fish occasionaly. They really wont live a happy long life in a tank though. Sharks are better off left in the wild.
@Rmzizou maybe it might be his, look in the reflection of the glass? It looks like there might be some appliances in the background or something, plus, if it were the zoos, you would think there would be people waling by to see other exhibits, no moving motions are in the reflection other than the camera and the person moving.

Personally i think keeping sharks in tanks is animal cruelty, no matter how big the tank is, cause sharks change homes all the time, and they are unable to do that in a box...

dude how big are those sharks? like 20 inches?? cause i got a tank and id l0ve to have a baby black tip reef shark Dammit i had 2 baby nurse sharks like 5 feet before in the bottom on my dock.
this tank is a fish planet in sacramento, its an ok size tank for black tips that small but eventuallly they're going to need one much larger, i've seen this tank in person and it's very cool.
If you like sharks check out adoptashark(dot)com it´s a website where you can adopt a shark, even a great white, with a satellite tag and they tell you where it went in the ocean, how deep, and more, very cool
how old would you say these ones are here?

You do understand that these sharks grow quite larger than what they are now, dont you? 5,000 gallons will not be adequate in a few years.

5000 gallons is the size of 5 kiddy pools. i doubt 3 7ft long black tip reef sharks could live in that. Plus, that is definitely not 5000 gallons.

They look so amazing and graceful .... awesome creatures, wish we all did more to protect them in the wild.
