  • 8:13 "Are you Prussian?"

    "Ya!" ಠ_ಠ

  • Some landscape scenes, such as at 7:55, make the terrain appear more like the battle was fought in the Ardennes than in the relatively flat ground of northern Belgium. Have these film makers not visited the actual battlefield? This film is so like the sorry documentaries seen on the History Channel it is not worth the time to finish watching it.

  • LOL at 7.10 the music is the german national anthem

  • I know how much noise a troop of about 30 horses can make just by running around... I assure you, if they'd pass in front of your house, you'd feel their steps by your feet, and every piece of your furniture would tremble roughly. Now, imagine TWELVE THOUSANDS of them running towards you. Must be terrifying, really.

  • 2:39

  • Lol look at the horse exspression at 2:40.

  • Not the Smartest of the Smart? Ouch.

  • Bad tactics by the French high command...

  • hmm i think the battle in lord of the rings with the big army of rohirem is inspired by this cavalery charge

  • Give me night or give me Bluecher.

  • I think the British hit their own squares, but they hit much more French soldiers while shooting.

  • Did the British suffer any friendly fire while in the squares? They way it was depicted there the squares are close to one another, so while shooting at the cavalry did the British accidentally shot and hit their own squares?

Also how is the French artillery able to hit the British squares if they are behind the hill?

  • it sounds like he say " lines and lines of penis"

  • damn those musket balls are fucking BIG i understand people falls when hit by 1 of them....damn... golfball in the chest

  • if not for the prussians the british would have lost

  • @jungenaziboy If not ffor the british the prussians would have lost

  • @jungenaziboy good medicore statement there, never heard that weak argument before

  • @donorleone that`s 'mediocre' spelling there son........

  • @MrAsianlova ah the spelling argument, always nice to see someone with no comeback go for a spelling error

  • @donorleone lol, i know right.

  • 12,000 cavalry....bloody hell.....

    ...thats alot of horse shit!

  • @Isthisthelongestname lmfao thats hilarious! hahahaha!!!

  • What movie is this from?

  • @samquizeen No movie this is a full show called Battleground the Art of War: Waterloo

  • EH we need a a blow a blow of what u breaking mine ....... i like the way Napolean say it

  • lol the Prussians didn't do much lmao even when they arrived

  • Why did he not ordered the 12- pounders to destory Hougoumont and the other building, that will have caused great casualties with no losses since the building would fall down. Leaving the center weak without the fortifications, the battle could have been diffrent.

  • @DawnOfTheAcopalypse because it is field artillery, not siege artillery. they fired 12 pound balls at most, that would hardly make a scratch (so to speak) in the wals. much heavier equipment is needed to crack such a wall, at least 24 pounders

  • When did the Scots Greys attack?

  • @Strategos300 That is in part 3 but it is not well shown in this video they just say that after a small advance with the British infantry and the support of the cavalry (Scots greys and other brigades) back to their (French) lines.

  • if that would have been Polish cavalry the Brits wouldn't stand a chance like Napoleon said 800 poles equal 8000 soldiers

  • @rabarba6 lol no, look at those sqaurs its total suicide.

  • 12 000 cavalrymen... a move this great was as much spectacular than wrong, if you think strategic.

  • 6.15 thats no time to be relaxing

  • W'hy Napoleon don't use his altilery too support attack at LaBasette farm???

  • Comment removed

  • thats what it means to be British to keep fighting no matter what

  • @ccclllsport yea the britts kept fighting no matter what but all they did was roast some marshmmallows and hotdogs on that hill and wait for the french to advance..

  • @ccclllsport What about Singapore 1942 ?

  • @ccclllsport well that is not the case today now is it:P?

  • @Alesandros356 Yea it is, we are still British. Look at london bombing, the next day we got back on the underground despite the terrorsit wanted to kill us. we just carry on.

  • @ccclllsport keep carry on then:P

  • @ccclllsport unless youre trapped between a french armada and the american continental army. not trying to talk trash about the british tho, great country.

  • @ccclllsport If you're talking about he troops at La Hays Saint, they were german.

  • @ccclllsport You do know that the most of the troops under wellingtons command where german and dutch do you?

  • @1812over2 do not be a dickfucker.

  • @Paralyzze1 ever heard of the kings GERMAN legion? it isn't called brittish legion... it is a proven fact that the most man in wellingtons army where german. btw dumbfucks like you should stop arguing about sthing like that. it would disshonor and insult these brave man under the command of blücher and wellington who fought against one of the most cruel dictators in worlds history. seriously just bug off.

  • @1812over2 you mad? We all know there was tons of german guys in the british army. Just stop throwing it around the way you are doing, for example to that guy who just wants to be proud of the british army and people.

  • @1812over2 About a third of Wellington's Army were British, about a third were Germans & about a third were Dutch &Belgians. I have not met anyone who has some knowledge of thebattle beyond just Napoleon losing to a British led Army who denies that Germans played a major part in the victory. In fact I have found more people who try to rob Wellington of most, & the British of all, of the credit for the victory because British troops were in the minority than those who ignore the Germans involved.

  • @ccclllsport Tell that to the Brits at Dunkirk...

  • preussens gloria!

  • Preussens Gloria!

  • British, Dutch, Brunswicker and KGL hands at the end of the day.

  • and Hanoverians

  • Hougoumont farmhouse. Remained in British hands all day despite wave upon wave of French attacks. Proved crucial to the allied victory.
