Some questions. I also believe govt is a mess and should stay out of people's lives. But Ron believes "The State" is allowed to involve themselves, whether it be rights for gays or as his son, Rand,which believes business should have the right to prevent blacks from entering restaurants. I understand in theory why this is appealing; but practically...well, where is the practicality?

@qigong1001 I can't speak much for Rand, but I think as far as Paul goes that he simply wanting the Federal gov. to work within the very limited powers granted it by the constitution, and not the immense power and control they have taken (to our detriment). From what I know of Paul, I don't think he's racist. But we can only know the public man. As a person who's whole viewpoint is based on personal liberty, my understanding is he would leave who is to be married to churches.

@stancurtin I don't think he is racist or anti-semitic or any of those false allegations. I think his plans simply open and give license to racists and elitists. As for limiting the fed, the power vacuum that would open, would surely ensure another lion to take over. So, we would be back where we started. Thats just nature; someone will rise to the top in a heartbeat and take back the "liberty". And he was pretty clear about giving marraige control to states, not just churches.

@stancurtin You should read some books on marketing and how to spread an idea quickly, because with our message we won't need propaganda like all these other politicians will too win. Hell even Chuck Norris endorses Ron Paul so if we get that message across half of america will vote for him solely because of that.
