  • Great shot of the moray, I've never seen one swim out in the open like that.

  • great job keeping the camera still while drifting. What type of camera is used ?

What is that great music playing with the video ? Good strings. what reef is represented there ?

  • The camera is a SeaLife DC 800 with no external lighting. Most of the reef shots are from South Double Ledges which is just a bit south of the Palm Beach inlet. There are a couple of shots from the Catacomb dive site which is just north of the Palm Beach Inlet.

  • what boat did you use? The Wetter The Better?

  • I just got the new one SeaLife DC1000 10 mega pixels, great camera, I work for a dive shop in florida & I loved using my managers DC 800.

  • ...and the music, it is Apocaliptica, a Scandinavian quartet (sometimes quintet) known for doing strings interpretations of Metallica and other hard rock bands. Theyve recently added drums and now play original works as well. Most of their music is 'cello head banger', but some, like the songs Farewell used in this montage and Ruska used in the Blue Heron Bridge II montage are a bit mellower.

  • Nice video there, some great footage well done!

  • Hi Rick, nice stuff! I could tell you were ripping along on that current. 72 degrees - you are da man. That was a great eel, nurse, stingray - aren't they amazing??

  • Nice vid. Loved the background music. I'm looking forward to diving there all next week.
