When i do your test I get a tingling/numb feeling in all my fingers and thumb and two lines of an electric shock that shoots up my arm to my elbow from both the inside and outside of my wrist. I've had chronic pain in my hand and wrist for years and more recently elbow and forearm. Right now it's really bad. I love to knit and crochet and but right now, it's almost impossible. Although my hands and wrists hurt, the numbness and pain I'm feeling in my forearm and elbow has gotten worse.

@emmarie1 If you feel it in your fingers, thumb and elbow then that would be Carpal and Cubital tunnel. Cubital tunnel affects the ring/pinky fingers and elbow pain. I have both plus medial epicondylitis.

Good, but very short video. Maybe you could add to the description that the test is also known as Tinel's test (just in case anybody would want to look it up). I know, actually Tinel's test is percussing any nerve to reproduce symptoms (tingling, "pins and needles"), but in my experience it's mostly used in describing compression of the median nerve, which is mostly caused by carpal tunnel syndrome.

I dont expierence any tingling ( I think )

Maybe I'm not performing this right, I do however have pain in the tree fingers, and sometimes my tumb gets numb, I do have a cyste on top of my wrist, which I believe the pain could be comming from, any ideas?

Hmm, question, I don't get any positive results from this test but often in the morning or sometimes even in the middle of the night my left ring and pinky finger are curled into the palm of my hand and literally locked in place. I have to open them with my right hand (there's an audible/feelable pop) then I begin to get movement back but can feel a popping coming from my pinky for some time afterwards. Think it could still be carpal tunnel or something else?

I feel the tingling when I tap just a bit higher up the arm: If you'd have a watch, tap just on the left side of it. Then I get the tingle, but I'm just 16 and I play quite a lot of guitar. Is this normal?

I tried it on both hands but its worse in my left hand. I also get pins and needles in both hands at night but almost nothing during the day. Is this CTS although I did have a electrical test last June wich proved negative?

I was doing dips with my wrist bent with 230 pounds at the gym and I managed to finish the set but every rep I did there was a electric pinch in all my forarms. It felt like my veins were pulsing electric shocks. But now s'all good.

i passed this test but the hand doctor says i defiantly have mild carpal tunnel as of 3 weeks ago, now i have shooting paint up my from my thumb to my bottom quarter of my forearm. happens only when i put my arm a certain way, i can carry heavy things and even hit a punching bag with no pain.

well it's only when you put pressure on the wrist if you keep your wrist steady and move your arm then you dont feel the this is caused when pressure is put on the median nerve giving you the syndrome you should feel numbness or a tingling sensation on the thumb pointing finder and middle finger your last 2 fingers aren't really affected by this its' fixable with a sugery they cut off your carpal ligament pretty painless ....

I passed this test so I don't have carpal tunnel syndrome - but I do have a tingling in both pinkies at times when I raise my hands up for a few minutes or lean on my elbows. Also a stretch-type pain in my forearms near the elbows. Don't know what its called but I'm trying to stay away from the computer and rest.

The test is positive if you get a tingling sensation in either the thumb, index, middle and 1/2 of ring, you may get it in all of the fingers or some of the fingers

@Rebel4Life69 I got that too and I seem to be suffering from tendonitis on my posterior wrist. I am not a physician, so do not take my medical advice, but see a doctor and inquire about tendonitis.
