I flat out admit that I wasn't born in Manchester, I only live about a 1 hour drive from it or 20 to 30 minutes on the train but I don't think it matters where your born just as long as you support that team because you enjoy seeing them play whether they win or lose. I love seeing united play and to be honest I don't care whether they are at the top league or right at the bottom. As for any glory hunters we may have, I feel sorry for them to be honest.

When people ask me what football team I support I'm completely honest and say I support Manchester United (I see no point in lying about it) and I'm then called a glory hunter just because I'm not from Manchester. It can't be helped and I just ignore them since they don't know me so their remarks mean nothing. I've learned about the club's history and I'd support them no matter what, I like watching them play whether we win or lose :)
