Steve Strait is very hunky, the Quest idea was great (guy out to find his lady, discover where his Dad went) the creatures were terrific, especially the Mammoth hunt...but the second half was pretty cheesy. The pyramids? Bad guys that are kinda-sorta from Atlantis? Why not give 'em ray guns?

No, we've looked about the way we do now for maybe 50-70,000 years. And to reach back to anything truly apelike would mean anywhere from a half million to perhaps 4 or 5 million years. Few people lived in caves (not enough caves, and generally occupied by cave bears or lions). As for buildings, our notions of true history beyond a few thousand years are mostly guesswork...

The girl drops the necklace the main car. pick it up and says 'She is alive' WTF =). The group of people was walking for several months from the mountains to the desert with no food supplies. I've seen it, i thought it was alrite - was expecting more action and graphic scenes, didnt deliver in that sense so i'd give it 3/5 stars...now stfu, stop arguing about bloody dinosaurs(they died out 62 mil yrs ago morons!) and just buy a cinema ticket n watch it! There aren't just mammoths and sabretooths in this film. The trailer shows a few terror birds as well (like an ostrich with a hawk's head). I bet those people mistook the birds for dinosaurs

Well on the overall the movie,graphics and and special effects were brilliant.But the hisorical effects were a little wrong.For example,the sabre toothed tiger went extinct 10,000 years AGO not B.C and dat there was no way in 10,000bc there were cloth,fabric and the like(in the "mounted of the Gods" .The sails were also not invented until much later,and red sails in 10,00bc before christ?There are other questions but i rate dis movie as 4.5 stars because of its effort,good actors and good plot

Yes, I think there are a few mistakes in the movie. Dinosaurs didn't exist anymore in that age. They did not live together with humans.
