  • these are the ones designed to sneak into you house when you are sleep and drill out your brain

  • One day he is gonna think "f*** it" and go around

  • ....that things a dog?

  • I swear, my 3 year old daughter just saw this and her first words to describe it was "this dangerous". Not kidding!

  • Now I know what I look like when I'm drunk trying to climb stairs.

  • Is it autonomous or remote controlled?

  • @ahz123 autonomous

  • That shits kinda spooky looking

  • It is way to damn cute when it does its little flop at the end of each run.

  • @funktapus It's like "phew, that was hard, I need a nap".

  • 1:44 ROFL XDDD

  • he just like gives up LOL

  • couple years later this one is military, and it's chasing you like terminator..

    scary

  • LOL at 1:47 it's like a dog with no hind legs trying to climb the stairs lol!!!!!

  • CUUUTTTE!

  • Good dog!

  • please, put him a head, without it seems sadic..

  • cool, very good speed for a little guy, the only thing that makes it inferior to big dog ( other then size ofcourse) is how extremely stiff this bot is, its not creepy like big dog tho lol

  • big dog is extremely scary

  • i think ur dog is sick...

  • big dog was creepy as hell.

this ones kind of cute though : 3

  • lol

i love how he lays down

  • yeah like it is just so wore out

  • lol at stairs

  • Dogs don't have reverse jointed legs.

  • damn, id hate to have that crawl up my door step

  • wow! Looks like a retarded pokemon

  • LMFAO @

    1:44

    2:14

    2:22

    2:36

  • it reminds me of a puppy when it reaches the gray marker, if you've seen a puppy that suddenly decided it was tired :D

  • Could you please give little dog a head...................i just realized how that sounded.

  • I eagerly anticipate the dreaded 'Escalator Trials'.

  • hahaha depressed + wow

  • omg, wow I couldn't stop laughing at how it just gave up and fell down at the end. It started all nice, but man; why work the little guy so hard. He was collapsing!

  • big deal.. i want to see some bipedal robots in america already.. the japanese have like dozens now... americans have the retarded robosapien..

even the robots at mit and nasa area all parapraledgic

america make some dam walking robots already shit

  • i have seen footage of asimov from japan. I don't see it doing much honestly. These robots are made for specific purposes and I think they're great.

  • theres no doubt our a.i would kick their ass.. but everyone wnats to see robots that do what we do... i find it hard to believe that we just can't do it.

and its asimo and its an amazing robot, how can it not do much dumbass? its a human form can walk up and down stairs and perform human task. idiot

  • well first of all what was the need to call me names? criticize my comment, not me. secondly asimo may be capable to go up and down the stairs and do light pre programmed things, but it still far from doing our laundry or dishes. It cant do what this dog is able to do

  • listen i know the big dog and probably this dog is far "smarter" then japanese robots who are just preprogramed.. but its balancing computer for asimo is state of the art.. and far from being a typical japanese toy robot.

i just want to see america make one.. they are all wheel chair bound. it doesn't translate emotionally for me without seeing an irobot type humaoid robot

  • As far as balancing act, I agree that asimo and even the toyota robot have it right. However, you're giving very little credit to boston dynamics robots. Have you seen the "bigdog" Robot by boston dynamics? I think it balances better than any other robot in the world. But thats my personal opinion. Japanese or American, I am just happy to see the technology getting to this point and further as if it is in japan today, it will be all over the world tomorrow due to the globalized economy we have.

  • i already mentioned big dog, i think americans are more interested in actual A.I from what ive seen then building a humanoid.. while the japanese are more interested in human motion..

Ive seen many american videos.. attempting bipedal movement that really sucked, its always hoping or tethered.

while our military is in the for front of robotics.. our consumer level robots sucks ass compared to japans.. robosapien is a joke

  • The robosapien is available for $50. Asimo for $1m. Robosapien is a toy, Asimo is a humanoid robot which doesn't have much use at this point except building consume confidence in Honda technology. Additionally, it is next stp to robotic technology. At this point Asimo is lot of promise. Asimo and Robosapien can't be compred. The inventor of irobot vaccum cleaner thiks that humanoid aren't the right way to go in robtics technology, rather robts made for specfic purposes is the right way to go.

  • when i said consumer i didn't say asimo.. robosapien is the best thing we have and its a piece of shit..

humanoids are the way to go in a human enviorment.. when they said non humanoid robots are needed tehy meant wheeled robots in the battle field or crawling robots in space. for the home or hospital it has to be human. to use our tools open our doors.

doesn't have much use? its still state of the art technology. according to ur logic why should we research anything? everyone wants to see c3po

  • LMAO 1:45

  • lol it tries so hard to get over the obstacles, when it is finished, it gets tired and colapses

  • Thats amazing.

  • this is funny

  • LOL @ the nosediving at the end of the last few courses.

  • It's looks amazing but I'm not sure about this kind of robotic experiment, why try to replicate four legged animal when you can create a completely different motion behavior like a surface adaptable rolling ball? just a thought.

  • well in the future, what would you rather have? a realistic dog pet or a rolling ball? i go for the pet XD

  • Problem with a rolling ball is getting momentum in slippery terrain.

  • take a look : Crawling and Jumping Soft Robots video from BotJunkie channel this is what I meant :)

  • Part of the usefulness of LittleDog is that it's good for carrying supplies and things, like a mobile backpack...

unfortunately, the rolling things don't look capable of sustaining a beating or carrying anything :(

  • LittleDog looks very sturdy!

  • These are just amazing to me.

  • It cant stay up on two legs very well becasue it doesnt have enough momentuem, so the legs need to move faster

  • I'm sure that Boston Dynamics appreciates your advice.

  • The stairs part was so cute :P

  • 1:44 LOL!

  • it also falls asleep superfast after a task.. lol

  • the best part is when it's done and lays down!

  • Does look pretty cool!!

  • impressive¡¡¡¡ has a good equilibrium and decides alone
